Democrats continue to fail to see the impact of what they have done with their impeachment sham and Piers Morgan believes President Trump will be “laughing all the way to re-election.”
The British journalist and co-anchor of “Good Morning Britain” suggested House Speaker Nancy Pelosi save the solemn black attire she wore to the House vote this week for November, when the full impact of the partisan House impeachment sham will be felt.
“Spare me this pious, disingenuous nonsense,” Morgan wrote in a Daily Mail opinion piece published Thursday, blasting the hypocrisy of Democrats who declare the gravity of impeachment while erupted into cheers when their leader read the vote tally Wednesday, prompting her to silence them with a glare “like a crazed kindergarten teacher.”

Morgan kicked off his piece with a look at the smug – but premature – celebrations by liberals as the House reached its vote. The Washington Post’s Congress reporter and CNN political analyst Rachael Bade posted and then deleted a photo of her with jubilant coworkers at a restaurant with the caption, “Merry Impeachmas from the WAPO team!”
Bade deleted her tweet after being called out, claiming the photo was “being misinterpreted by some as an endorsement of some kind.”
You mean this happy little celebration?
“MERRY IMPEACHMAS FROM THE WAPO TEAM!”Rachel Bade
Yeah, I see what you mean. I see how it could be distorted. NOT!?
But can you please translate. I’d hate to misunderstand what she actually meant by her statement! pic.twitter.com/Nr3RwLi2xT

Rachel Bade: Merry Impeachmas! We here at WaPo are celebrating the impeachment of our President! It’s been three long years!

Morgan slammed the impeachment efforts as an “act of extraordinary stupidity and self-harm,” and described the House vote as “one of the most pointless, farcical days in the history of America’s Congress.”
“For hour after tortuous hour, the representatives of the world’s greatest superpower filed up to have their moment in the sun. Or rather, in the glare of TV cameras,” he wrote. “They raged, they sighed, they rolled their eyes, they wiped away fake tears, they invoked every great American historical figure they could think of, they told their personal stories of family courage… and so they banged on, sucking the very life out of the holiday season with every indignant self-aggrandizing breath.”
He went on to note that with a GOP-controlled Senate, Trump is not likely to be going anywhere and now, with Pelosi pulling a stunt in withholding the articles of impeachment from being sent to the upper chamber of Congress, the whole thing is “a staggeringly futile exercise of unprecedented proportions.”
Morgan targeted the left again for their celebratory reactions to the impeachment vote, asking “what are you clueless clowns all celebrating?”
“Do you not understand it all ends in a big loss for Trump-haters and a big win for Trump?” he wrote. “His base will fire up even more than they already are, the Democrat base will fire down in abject dismay, and all the momentum for the 2020 Election will swing behind the President.
Morgan is not alone, as many took to Twitter to point out.

Pelosi is too dense to understand, but she will come November 3, 2020 when the “impeached” president is re-elected
