Trish Regan rails hard on Dems’ impeachment show, it’s a ‘hostile takeover’ to ‘dehumanize conservatives’

As Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., takes his dog and pony impeachment show public on Wednesday, moving away from secret proceedings from behind closed doors in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, the effort to take out President Donald Trump remains entirely a Democratic endeavor.

Fox Business’ Trish Regan, host of “Trish Regan Primetime,” characterized the effort as a “hostile takeover of the government,” saying that the left is making a deliberate attempt to “dehumanize conservatives.”

“The Democrats have shown their true colors, choosing politics over country,” Regan said Tuesday. “They are deliberately leading us into uncharted, challenging territory geopolitically and if they get their way, economically as well.”

“We are just hours away from Adam Schiff’s big dream,” she continued. “He finally gets to be center stage in a movie he has been attempting to script since 2016.”

Regan shared that as a young assistant district attorney living in Hollywood, Schiff “used to spend hours at the library studying the scripts of the horror film, ‘Silence of the Lambs,’ to write his own crime thriller.”

“He’s attempting to be the chief storyteller in this fictional charade to sabotage President Trump and simultaneously ravaging this great country,” she informed her viewers.

The Fox Business host goes on to talk about the end result of the divisive efforts by Democrats, saying it is creating “an emotional kind of civil strife.”

“And that’s not good for this country. We don’t need to be in this divided place. Of course, when Trish Regan says it the leftist media goes bonkers.”

She then compares the media response to her assertions about how divided we are as a nation to that on the left.

“The bottom line is we are in a bad place. A very bad place. Thank you, Adam Schiff, thank you, Nancy Pelosi, thank you The Squad. There is a total lack of tolerance from the left.”

A montage is run of various Democrats, to include Hillary Clinton and Eric Holder, publicly advocating for a lack of civility in opposing the right.

“If this kind of lack of civility continues, if we do not respect one another, if we don’t respect our institutions of government, we have no cohesiveness, we have no spirit, we have no economy, we have no country,” Regan said. “This is exactly what our enemies want, divide and conquer. Adam Schiff, who is apparently a little stuck in his wannabe, Hollywood crime-thriller movie-writer role, is selling America out. For what? For what he thinks is political glory? It’s not going to get him very far. This hostile takeover of the government is not going to succeed. One, because Americans recognize it for what it is.”

The second reason being the Trump economy, as Regan goes on to say the American people reserve the right to decide who their president is — not lost in the effort by the Democrats to unseat a duly elected president is the fact that we are less than one year away from the 2020 election.

“Adam Schiff can continue to try and write this horror movie, or Americans, we can take our country back. The left’s attempt to dehumanize conservatives, to dehumanize the middle of this country, it is very deliberate,” Regan said. “You know, when you dehumanize people you can suddenly can be justified in taking away their votes. But Americans won’t allow it.”
