World Series champion Nats show so much MAGA spirit at White House visit, liberal heads explode

Fresh off of winning the 2019 World Series, the world champion Washington Nationals visited the White House on Monday, much to the dismay of the anti-Trump media.

And one can just imagine the media’s consternation when catcher Kurt Suzuki got into the spirit of things by donning a “Make America Great Again” cap on the White House balcony.

In addition to rocking a “MAGA” hat, the MLB player told the gathered audience, “I love you all! Thank you!”

President Trump’s reaction was just as priceless, as the president gave Suzuki a hug from behind.

And make no mistake, the media took notice:

But it gets better. Or worse, given your political disposition.

In presenting Trump a customary jersey, first baseman Ryan Zimmerman actually had kind words to say. Words more in line with praising the greatness of America, not that the haters cared.

“Thank you for keeping everyone here safe in our country and continuing to make America the greatest country to live in the world,” Zimmerman said, after thanking the president on behalf of his teammates for the invitation to visit.

For some on social media, the moment brought questions of how soon Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., chairman of the Democrat-run House Intelligence Committee, turns the power of his office against the player.

Schiff is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s hand-picked choice to head up the party’s impeachment sham.

The president’s eldest son and namesake, Donald Trump Jr., perfectly captured the anticipated reaction from the left to the uplifting, celebratory mood.

“Hahahaha so awesome. I believe that reaction/gesture is the universal symbol of liberal heads exploding everywhere,” he tweeted.

Naturally, haters are going to hate… the tweets seen below could be exhibit A in a case study on Trump Derangement Syndrome:

None could top this X-rated offering from political analyst Bill Palmer, a foaming at the mouth Trump hater who called on Suzuki to be “banned from baseball” — Palmer would later delete the tweet:

Given the sad state of affairs in America in the year 2019, it was oh, so predictable.

“Kurt Suzuki wearing a MAGA hat. This will go over well. Twitter will be rational,” tweeted Barstool Sports’ Nate Blogg.

In the end, it was a feel-good moment that offered America a temporary reprieve from the toxic resistance to President Trump that has set upon the Democratic Party and its allies in the media like a pox. A rare glimpse these days of what normal looks like.

Here’s a sampling of other responses from Twitter that brings this into view:
