Dana Loesch shredded Joe Scarborough in a heated Twitter exchange after the MSNBC host attacked her for supposedly “inciting violence” against him and his wife, Mika Brzezinski.
The former spokesperson for the National Rifle Association had her hands full on Twitter following two mass shootings over the weekend, and called out the social media users slamming the NRA for inciting mob violence against her.
“Good job pretending to denounce violence with this hideous behavior,” Loesch tweeted Sunday amid the fallout from the El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio shootings that left 29 people dead.
Another verified account calling me a murderer. The death threats you all are helping to incite are just awesome. Good job pretending to denounce violence with this hideous behavior. https://t.co/W1lSDVncdG

Scarborough joined the pile-up, responding to Loesch’s tweet by accusing her of being “shameless” and slamming her for an NRA advertisement.
You have a lot of nerve, inciting violence against my wife and me in an NRATV ad. Looking to camera after rolling one inflammatory clip after another and then ominously telling us, “Your time is running out.”
Seriously? You are shameless. https://t.co/gUPp6Fhn4m— Joe Scarborough (@JoeNBC) August 4, 2019
The former NRA-TV host fired back against his mischaracterization of the ad, calling his remark a “shameful lie.”
This is a shameful lie, Joe and you have a lot of nerve with this malicious misrepresentation. It was literally an ad that featured a countdown to a special on media bias. https://t.co/hZ0xgwCWK0
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) August 4, 2019
Scarborough continued his posturing, however, tweeting back that the ads “intended to inflame violence.”
Your NRATV ads incite violence. Even NRA board members were offended by the ads. That’s one reason the dangerous scam was shut down. Those ads were intended to inflame violence and intimidate those not walking in lockstep with NRA’s DC lobbyists. https://t.co/36uPj9kM0a
— Joe Scarborough (@JoeNBC) August 4, 2019
Loesch made it clear she wasn’t going to take Scarborough’ bait and get into a war of words over something unrelated to herself.
You mean the ad where actual footage of Antifa violence played while I condemned it in a VO? More malicious representation, Joe. I’m not going to comment on an ongoing fight between two entities that had nothing to do with me. https://t.co/I2fjFsGya5
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) August 4, 2019
The MSNBC host railed about Loesch arguing over “semantics.”
Again, you’re purposefully and maliciously trying to make an ad that announced a start of a program focusing on media bias to be something it wasn’t. That’s disingenuous, Joe. https://t.co/S0xMC2K6DR
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) August 4, 2019
Loesch confronted him on his criticism of her by referring to “increased background checks,” but Scarborough tucked tail and ran, letting his wife take over the battle.
Joe, what are “increased background checks?” How do you define it. Serious question.

“Dana, You threatened us — Please leave us alone. I repeat, leave us alone. We ask peacefully for no more threats from you or anything else. Please leave us alone,” Brzezinski tweeted, apparently missing the fact that her own husband started the exchange.
Loesch set the record straight.
Hi Mika, no, I didn’t, and it’s disingenuous to misrepresent an ad that literally was about a program launch to such a malicious level. You Tweeted to me, not me to you. God bless. https://t.co/3OQzQqhBBz
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) August 4, 2019
But the “Morning Joe” co-host shot back in typical liberal fashion, playing the victim card while leveling a hateful, personal attack. Loesch repeated her stand and even shot a “God Bless” to Brzezinski.
Since you keep Tweeting me, again I’ll say that it’s incredibly disingenuous to make an ad that was about a program launch into something so malicious. It wasn’t about you, Mika. I don’t find you revolting, just wrong here. Sincerely, God bless. https://t.co/fcwO3Fg5Jx
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) August 4, 2019
The clueless MSNBC host issued yet another pearl-clutching tweet, accusing Loesch once again of threatening her and her husband. The back and forth continued, with Brzezinski never grasping that Scarborough was the one to tweet at Loesch first.
For the third time, since you keep Tweeting me as I never Tweeted to you, you’re maliciously misrepresenting an ad that announced the launch of a program that discussed media bias. I wish you well. https://t.co/mPbbBoPkfs
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) August 4, 2019
“I’m not sure why you are trying so hard to make this all about you,” Loesch chided.
Mika, it was a show announcement. For a program I did. On media bias. Specifically. I’m not sure why you are trying so hard to make this all about you. Also, if people criticize you for your bias, it isn’t a “threat.” Be well. https://t.co/buasuEDzif
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) August 4, 2019
Twitter users quickly weighed in on the fiery clash:
By the way, where’s the evidence that anything Dana Loesch said resulted in someone committing violence against Scarborough?
— Drew Birling (@actdrewary) August 4, 2019
Agreed.
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) August 5, 2019
Mika’s ratings must be way down to play the victim card this hard to grab attention.
— Kevin Aldrich (@HuskyKMA) August 4, 2019
Maybe if Mika and Joe weren’t so liberally biased, they wouldn’t feel so “threatened” by your show announcement. Just a thought.
— Sir Guy of Gisbourne ? (@SirGuyGisbourne) August 4, 2019
Ah yes, they need content for their show so they generate false outrage to feed their shrinking number of viewers. Makes sense.
— Kodai Okuda (@KodaiOkuda) August 4, 2019
Dana I really don’t think these people even deserve a response from you. You are a great person and way too much class to have to deal with them and their lies about absolutely everything
— Greg Roye (@greg_roye) August 4, 2019
I doubt it. Typical of Mika and Joe, and all of MSM for that matter, to spin part of a comment for their own benefit. Anything taken out of context, or a segment of a sentence, can be made to say anything. Mika is really pushing the lefts hysteria button today.
— Steve Brady (@hdwg03) August 4, 2019
I don’t understand how Dana can remain sane in the face of such unhinged hatred…
