President Donald Trump’s frustration with Democrats and their efforts to impeach him spilled out in a talk with reporters at the White House.
Trump swung back at radical Democrats and their attacks against him, his family and administration as he spoke in the White House Oval Office on Friday, saying their endless investigations should instead be focused on former President Obama and Hillary Clinton.

“All they want to do is impede. They want to investigate. They want to go fishing. And I watched Bob Mueller, and they have nothing,” Trump told reporters during a gathering to announce an agreement with Guatemala.
“There’s no collusion there’s no obstruction they have nothing. It’s a disgrace,” he said, following a week which saw a highly anticipated testimony given by former special counsel Robert Mueller and an “impeachment investigation” launched by Democrats.
As Mueller’s testimony before two House Committees yielded none of the ‘gotcha’ moments Democrats were hoping for in their pursuit of taking down Trump, House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler announced his panel would now be going after grand jury evidence compiled by Mueller’s probe.

“We want to find out what happened with the last Democrat president. Let’s look into Obama the way they’ve looked into me. From day one they’ve looked into everything we’ve done,” the president said Friday.
“They could look into the book deal that President Obama made. Let’s subpoena all of his records,” Trump suggested, likely referring to the lucrative joint book deal with Penguin Random House that Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama signed in 2017 after leaving office, worth more than $65 million, according to the Financial Times.
“Let’s subpoena all of the records having to do with Hillary Clinton and all of the nonsense that went on with Clinton and her foundation and everything else. We could do that all day long,” Trump added.
He also took a shot at his predecessor for the White House air conditioning system which he said worked fine before but now cannot maintain a comfortable temperature.
Responding to a question about an upcoming trip to Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., the president replied, “It’s never a vacation.”
Adding that he preferred to be in the White House, he then went on to note that maintenance work gets done while he is away.
“The Obama administration worked out a brand new air conditioning system for the West Wing,” he said.
“It was so good before they did the system,” he added. “Now that they did the system, it’s freezing or hot in here.”
Trump’s criticism of Democrats earlier in the gathering highlighted their relentless efforts to impeach him, which he denounced while calling them “clowns.”

“You know the amazing thing about the Democrats, it was all fine, everything was great four or five years ago before I was president. And now they think we’re gonna win so they’re doing everything they can with the impeachment nonsense. We had no obstruction. We had no collusion,” Trump said.
“You know, obstruction’s sort of interesting,” he continued, noting his cooperation by not invoking executive privilege. “I gave them totally. And then they say obstruction.”
“These people are clowns. The Democrats are clowns. They’re being laughed at all over the world,” the president told reporters. “And it’s a disgrace. And the world is laughing at them. And, unfortunately, it’s so bad for our country.”
