Michelle Obama seems to be pushing her way into the feud between several Democrat members of Congress and President Donald Trump.
Following criticism of the president after a rally this week where the crowd at one point chanted “send her back” in reference to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), the former first lady took to Twitter to comment on the matter and it’s not hard to see that she is throwing her political weight behind the “squad” — which consists of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib.
“What truly makes our country great is its diversity,” Obama tweeted. “I’ve seen that beauty in so many ways over the years. Whether we are born here or seek refuge here, there’s a place for us all. We must remember it’s not my America or your America. It’s our America.”

This is not the first time the former first lady has taken a public shot at Trump.
“The leader of the free world with a tweet can start a war, can crush an economy, can change the future of our children,” she said while speaking to Gayle King at the Essence Festival in New Orleans.
She also said that her husband, Barack, may have made the job of the presidency seem too easy to others.
“I guess it’s kind of like if the black guy can do it, anybody can do it — and that’s not true. It’s a hard job,” she said.

Trump and the “squad” of congresswomen have been in a verbal feud that has only heated up as the days have gone on.
The feud originally began when Trump said the group of extreme leftists should “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.”
The congresswomen and other leftists have claimed the comment was racist, but Trump has elaborated in recent days to say he doesn’t appreciate the way the congresswomen talk about the United States.
“So sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion. Whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including Nancy Pelosi, ‘RACIST,'” Trump tweeted on Friday about the women.
He continued, “Their disgusting language and the many terrible things they say about the United States must not be allowed to go unchallenged. If the Democrat Party wants to continue to condone such disgraceful behavior, then we look even more forward to seeing you at the ballot box in 2020!”
It’s not surprising to see Michelle Obama working to undermine the current president, but it is a surprise to see how many people are truly lowering themselves by capitalizing on this feud. Leftists may criticize Trump, but they are ignoring all of his comments except the original and they are ignoring some of the truly horrific things that Omar and the others have said in the past.
