Left panics, AOC helps lead charge on ‘what to do’ if ICE comes for you ahead of reported ‘mass raids’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez again took to protecting those in the U.S. illegally by issuing an alert about upcoming ICE raids.

The New York Democrat posted a video from the national “We Have Rights” campaign directing illegal immigrants on how to handle “ICE encounters” ahead of reported mass raids scheduled to begin Sunday.

“No matter who you are or what your status is, this is the United States of America – where ALL people have rights. Know yours,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Thursday, urging undocumented migrants to “prepare.”

Her tweet included one of the animated instructional videos prepared by the campaign which is led by the American Civil Liberties Union and the Brooklyn Defenders Services to migrants of their “rights” when dealing with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The videos accuse ICE agents of using “tricks” in confronting potential violators, including using false documents or claiming they are investigating a crime or some other scenario. The campaign touts itself as an “empowerment campaign to prepare for and safely defend our rights” on its website.

Ocasio-Cortez followed up her tweet with a reminder to the undocumented immigrants.

Her progressive colleague, Minnesota Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar also issued an alert along with a link to the ACLU, warning that the “raids will dehumanize immigrants and tear families apart. This will not make our country any stronger. It will only traumatize children, destroy lives, and make our country less safe.”

Contrary to the left’s panic-infused reports of the impending raids, ICE agents will be arresting people with criminal histories, those who have gone through the court process and have deportation orders. President Trump postponed the scheduled the removal process for two weeks allowing time for Democrats to come to the table and agree on a solution.

Liberal elected officials across the nation stood in firm in opposition to raids when they were leaked last month, as cities including Chicago, Baltimore, New York, Houston, Los Angeles and Miami prepared to be targeted.  Democratic mayors and governors openly and vocally opposed the federal agents and declared their solidarity with those in the country illegally.

Reports that the raids would go into effect this weekend sent the left into a meltdown once again as social media was inundated with posts alerting the undocumented immigrants about the “deceptive” federal agents.

Meanwhile, many Twitter users rebuked Ocasio-Cortez and others liberals for working overtime to protect criminals in the U.S. illegally.
