President Donald Trump’s decision Thursday evening to issue a memorandum authorizing Attorney General Bill Barr to declassify all documents tied to the Russia probe has engendered two fascinating hypotheses, one of them by former Trump administration official Sebastian Gorka.
In a casual, impromptu video published right after the president’s announcement Thursday evening, Gorka announced that “the Kraken has been unleashed” and hypothesized that the “rats” (Comey, Brennan, Clapper, etc.) would soon begin to turn on one another.
And the best part is that America has House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to thank for all this.
“I knew this day would come, but I didn’t expect it so soon,” he said in a video posted Thursday to Twitter at 11:50 pm EST. “Thanks to the actions and statements of Nancy Pelosi the last 48 hours, the president has brought forth his decision and the Kraken has been unleashed.”
The video was posted shortly after Trump issued a bombshell memorandum granting Barr “full and complete” authority to declassify any Russia-related documents and ordered all intelligence agencies, including the CIA, to comply with the attorney general’s requests.
Some believe this unexpected decision was a direct result of Pelosi’s antics. On Wednesday’ she’d held a meeting with the Democrat Caucus about potentially impeaching Trump. After the meeting concluded, she issued a statement to the press accusing the president of engaging in a “cover-up.”
This irritated the president so much — justifiably so, according to White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee — that he cancelled a scheduled meeting on infrastructure with Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and then issued his own rebuttal statement.
She ain’t wrong, is she!?
He said that he won’t work with congressional Democrat leaders until they stop investigating him over the already concluded Russia probe and cut it out with the salacious accusations.
In response, Pelosi doubled down, and well, you know what happened next …
“With his decision tonight to allow the attorney general to declassify any information relating to the illegal surveillance against his presidential campaign and his administration, we will find out who began the biggest political scandal in American history and where the responsibility lies,” Gorka continued Thursday. “Watch, in the next two days, the rats, the hyenas, start to eat each other. Clapper, Brennan, Lynch, even Obama. The fun and games have begun!”
Technically, they’ve technically already begun. Ever since the attorney general launched a formal investigation into the origins of the Russia probe and then assigned a “bulldog” attorney to oversee it, some of the “rats,” as Gorka put it, have been snipping at one another.
The latest feud involves disgraced former FBI Director James Comey and disgraced former CIA Director John Brennan. Their real-life “Spy vs. Spy” feud specifically concerns the infamous Steele dossier. The question everybody wants answered is “whodunit,” i.e., which one of these two disgraced officials was responsible for elevating the fraudulent, smear-filled document into undeserved relevance.
According to Comey, Brennan’s responsible. But according to Brennan, Comey’s responsible. Thanks to Trump’s decision Thursday, many more feuds are expected to pop up like gangbusters.
The Comey vs Brennan vs Clapper vs Lynch vs Obama show is going to be awesome 🍿

Of course, the left thinks otherwise. To them, Gorka’s hypothesis is crazy talk.
@SebGorka If you are serious in this video then you are patently insane.
If you are NOT serious, then you are patently criminal.
No other option.

It’s amazing/ironic how comparable Trump and his administration are to every TV, movie, and comic book villain ever created without a single redeeming quality.

Can you imagine being that stupid and taking yourself so seriously? Then again the guy drives a black Mustang with “Art of War”’license plates. He is beyond parody at this point.

It’s all the more disturbing when you realize he’s standing in front of his bathroom mirror naked from the waste down except for his Trumpy Bear slippers.

To be clear, the latter user, Jonah Goldberg, is a “Never Trump” Republican.
It’s unclear what exactly about Gorka’s hypothesis that Goldberg and the left-wing zealots who agree with him find “disturbing” and “stupid” ….
The second hypothesis mentioned earlier was put forth Friday morning by PJ Media contributor Roger L. Simon. He believes that Trump’s decision just ensured his reelection.
“t would have happened sooner or later, but Nancy Pelosi’s out-of-control behavior — accusing Trump of a cover-up before meeting with him (sheesh), demanding his family stage an intervention (double sheesh), etc. — clearly forced the president finally to issue a memo giving Attorney General Barr authority to declassify the 2016 campaign surveillance documents,” Simon wrote.
“Result: game changer. The re-election of Donald Trump will be dated from the evening of May 23, 2019. And the supposedly politically-savvy Ms. Pelosi will be marked down as the instigator.”
How come? Because, Simon appears to believe, the declassification of all Russia-related documents will prove once and for all that the Democrats are corrupt and incorrigible.
