Democrats Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar tag-teamed on Twitter to blast Chris Cox, an executive director of the NRA.
Cox had condemned Nancy Pelosi and AOC at the NRA’s annual meeting on April 26 for being part of a left-wing “socialist wave” that doesn’t reflect the “real America.”

“The socialist wave we warned was coming is here. And it’s not just the two coasts that are underwater, the wave is hitting the heartland of America. But as this circus goes on, millions of Americans will see how far outside the mainstream these socialists have become.
Friends, do you think Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are mainstream in the United States of America? Or are they in for a rude awakening in November of next year when the real America goes to the polls?
I’m talking about the America you and I know: The one where hardworking people put their heads down, mind their own business, raise their families, and do the right thing.”
Ocasio-Cortez fired back on Twitter by saying, “The Bronx and Queens are part of ‘the real America,’ too.”

Reminder: ‘Real American’ Ilhan Omar Trivializes 9/11
It’s ironic that Omar — a Somalian refugee — claims to represent “the real America” when she has repeatedly trashed the United States and its longtime ally, Israel.
Two weeks ago, Omar made headlines after trivializing the September 11, 2001 Islamist terrorist attacks, summarizing the awful tragedy by saying, “some people did something.”
The anti-American rhetoric was so offensive that even some of her fellow Muslims trashed Omar, as BizPac Review reported.
‘Real American’ AOC Didn’t Pay Her Taxes
As for Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, she has emerged as the de facto leader of the Democrat Party, thanks to her embrace of radical leftist ideas such as socialism, open-borders, and her unwillingness to pay taxes.

‘Real American’ AOC Won’t Condemn Easter Attacks on Christians
AOC rabidly tweeted about the New Zealand mosque attacks 14 times, but hasn’t tweeted once about the Easter attacks on Christians in Sri Lanka that killed 250 people, including several Americans.

Moderate Democrats Also Slam Party’s Embrace of Socialism
By the way, it’s not just Republicans who are slamming Ocasio Cortez and the Democratic Party’s shocking infatuation with socialism.
Two-term Democrat Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy says she’s alarmed by the radical socialist policies being championed by members of her own party.
“I am offended by this whole conversation about socialism,” Murphy said. “The idea that in the greatest democracy — the greatest capitalist system in the world — we’re having casual conversations about socialism, offends me.”
Murphy, the first Vietnamese-American woman in Congress, says growing up in socialist Vietnam gave her firsthand experience with the failures and horrors of socialism.
