Tom Perez, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, seems to be laying the groundwork for a Trump 2020 win and says his party is on high alert for the GOP to “lie, cheat and steal” to secure the 2020 presidential election. So he’s taking no chances.
“We are at war right now. It’s a cyber war. Unfortunately, the commander-in-chief is emasculated because he was a victim of that. We have just completed the third training of candidates to make sure that they understand the weaponization or the potential weaponization of data.
We are absolutely preparing for a repeat of 2016. It behooves us to absolutely have all hands on deck on cyber security. That’s what we are doing not only at the DNC, but for the candidates. We hired a top flight team of cyber experts and others in the ecosystem.”
A Scheming Tom Perez Sounds Defeated Already
Perez used the “lying, cheating, and stealing” excuse to preemptively excuse why the Democrats (in all likelihood) will fail to unseat Trump in 2020.
Democrats won in “historic manners” during the midterm election, Perez claimed. He then added the caveat that he’s “very sober about the realities of the upcoming campaign.’
MSNBC’s left-wing activist Joy Reid — who should be in jail for filing a false FBI report — agreed.
Tom Perez then claimed that President Trump will pull out all the stops to win re-election, so the Democratic Party is preparing to do whatever it takes.
“What’s clear from this administration and what’s clear throughout the entirety of his business practices is that they will lie, cheat, and steal. They will do anything to win.
They have so eroded institutions of democracy. Our democracy is on the ballot. We have to be prepared for more lying, cheating, and stealing. That is why we are organizing everywhere, and that is why we are preparing for every eventuality.
They will try to suppress the vote wherever they can. They will try to cheat. They will try to weaponize things. That’s what we are preparing for at the DNC.
Our democracy is truly on the ballot, and I’m confident we can win, but it saddens me to no end because this isn’t who we are. This is not the party of Lincoln. The party of Lincoln has officially died. The party of Trump is not a party that represents our democratic values.”
In 2016, DNC Colluded with the Media to Rig Primary
Again: The irony of the DNC chairman calling President Trump and the Republican Party liars and cheaters is so thick that Tom Perez could choke on it.
In 2016, the Democratic Party was caught rigging the primary elections in Hillary Clinton’s favor by colluding with the media to flood the public with pro-Hillary stories.
In fact, “reporters” like Glenn Thrush (who then worked at Politico) ran their stories for approval by Hillary’s campaign manager, John Podesta.
Thrush was later rewarded for his work as a Democratic operative with a cushy job at the New York Times. However, Thrush was censured by the New York Times amid multiple complaints that he sexually harassed his female colleagues.
Flashback: DNC Chair Donna Brazile Leaked Debate Questions
And lest anyone forget, former DNC chairwoman Donna Brazile was caught leaking debate questions to her longtime pal Hillary to help her “win” her debate against Bernie Sanders.
As a result of that scandal, Brazile was forced to step down as DNC chair and was fired from CNN as a contributor.
In March 2017, new DNC chairman Tom Perez asked all DNC staffers to resign amid their epic screw-ups during the 2016 election cycle.
