Despite the Mueller investigation ending with no real proof of collusion by Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, many Democrats are refusing to accept the results made public by Attorney General William Barr on Thursday morning.
Some left-wing media heads have become unglued in their reaction to Trump’s vindication. MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace even pushed crazy conspiracy theories about why the results to the investigation were the way they were.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and others have meanwhile called for Robert Mueller himself to testify about the investigation before Congress.
“AG Barr has confirmed the staggering partisan effort by the Trump Admin to spin public’s view of the #MuellerReport – complete with acknowledgment that the Trump team received a sneak preview. It’s more urgent than ever that Special Counsel Mueller testify before Congress,” she wrote on Twitter.

Trump’s Hollywood critics have been just as triggered by the Mueller investigation not confirming their wildest conspiracy theories about the president.
Actress and comedian Rosie O’Donnell, one of Trump’s loudest Hollywood critics, took to Twitter to confirm that she still wants to see the president impeached despite the lack of evidence in Mueller’s investigation.

“Misery” and “Stand By Me” director Rob Reiner, who has referred to the president as a racist in the past, tweeted that Donald Trump is “guilty.” The director did not go on to provide any evidence to back up his statement.
Prima Facie: Trump is guilty as hell.

The director later tweeted that the only hope of removing Trump from office now lies in the hands of Pelosi.
“America now has a ringside seat in the political arena for the biggest heavyweight fight in US history. It’s Trump vs. Pelosi. I’m all in on Pelosi. Get ready to rumble!” he tweeted.

With so many refusing to accept the results of the Mueller investigation presented to the public, some on the left have gotten the idea that an obstruction of justice case can successfully be pursued against Trump.
You can check out some of the obstruction of justice wishful thinking shared on social media below:
You can read the #MuellerReport and decide for yourself if there was collusion or obstruction of justice. https://t.co/Thw27Ynhf1

BIG: Mueller and his team concluded that Congress has authority to police obstruction of justice.
MUELLER: “[W]e concluded that Congress has the authority to prohibit a president’s corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice."

Bill Barr is wrong. There is nothing, nada, zilch in the Obstruction of Justice statute that says the defendant must also commit a second, underlying crime.
People have been prosecuted for Obstruction even if they did not commit an underlying crime. Barr is making this up. https://t.co/ipRElAVDXe

Judge Andrew Napolitano appeared on Fox Business’ “Varney & Co.” to discuss what an obstruction of justice case by the Democrats could look like.

“[W]hat the Democrats want to do, this may very well explode in their faces politically, Stuart, is second-guess Bill Barr and Bob Mueller,” said Napolitano.
The judge continued by saying that the president has no real legal risk moving forward.
“Now, Barr told us that there were 10 instances of alleged obstruction of justice. Whatever the bottom line is, they decided there’s not enough to prove the case,” said Napolitano. “The Democrats are going to take those 10 instances and parade some lawyers out there, ex-prosecutors who’ll say there is enough to prove the case. Which is why I said this just turns the page. The serious legal jeopardy for the president is gone. The political jeopardy, he knows how to deal with.”
The judge predicted that those who have been parroting conspiracy theories about collusion in the 2016 presidential election are only going to double down on their beliefs — because that’s what their extremist base wants.
“To the Democrats and the Trump haters, it’s fuel for them to continue digging more deeply into this. I think they’re making a mistake doing it, but I predict they’re going to do it because that’s what they think their base wants,” said Napolitano.
