Having victimhood down to an art form, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to a new poll showing her favorability numbers upside down as you may expect, blaming others — Fox News in this case.
A new Gallup poll shows that after two months on the job, Ocasio-Cortez has become a more recognizable figure, “but the increased visibility has not improved her overall standing with Americans.”
“Whereas the public had mixed views of Ocasio-Cortez in September, her image now tilts slightly negative, with 31% viewing her favorably and 41% unfavorably,” reported Gallup.
As seen below, unfavorable opinion of the democratic socialist is up 15 points since September:
Ocasio-Cortez, ever the thin-skinned leftist, took to Twitter to essentially remove from the poll the opinions of white males — the demographic makes up roughly 30 percent of the U.S. population.
Tagging the Gallup poll as “subconscious bias,” she tweeted: “If you want to know what subconscious bias looks like, it’s a headline saying ‘AOC is underwater with every group EXCEPT women, nonwhites, and 18-34 year olds.’ So older, conservative white men are considered ‘everyone’ and everyone else is discounted as an exception. Cool.”

The newly elected Democrat has a net -68 favorability with Republicans, -24 with men, -24 with whites and -31 with people 35 and older. Her plus numbers are with Democrats, women and nonwhites.
Ocasio-Cortez followed up on her first tweet by claiming the reason people know her more is not because the Bronx nitwit has a tendency to say really dumb things, but a result of Fox News turning into “AOC TMZ.”
Or, in other words, because the network reports on the really dumb things she tends to say.
To prove her point, she cites the off-the-charts left-wing New Yorker’s reporting on “this propaganda machine.”
The reason people know more is bc Fox News has turned into “AOC TMZ” (no offense to TMZ), so awareness is growing w/ GOPers.@JaneMayerNYer has reported deeply on this propaganda machine + it will be aimed at any Dem they want. Nothing changes that.
We can’t be scared by that.

In putting things into proper perspective, the Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra explained why Ocasio-Cortez has reason to be sensitive about the polling numbers.
“Gallup is a left-leaning poll and the fact they found only 56% of Democrats view AOC positively is a disaster for her,” he tweeted. “AOC has received more media coverage than any other Democrat in the last 6 months. The media loves her. Her ratings will plummet the more people learn about her.”

But, as a social media user noted, Fox News’ Tucker Carlson has given Ocasio-Cortez an open invitation to come on his show to sell herself.
“What have you got to lose?” asked the unverified account of a state representative from Michigan who termed out in 2018.
@TuckerCarlson has given you an open invitation to come on his show where you can tell your views with a larger audience. Take him up on it. What you have to lose?

A matchupSomehow, a between Carlson and Ocasio-Cortez would make for must see TV
Here’s a sampling of other responses from Twitter:
No such thing as "subconscious bias." Make-believe term created by leftists to smear everyone and anyone as "racist" when the political need arises. https://t.co/4QYSdRqgyd

No. It has nothing to do with being a woman or your race. It has everything to do with you being an idiot and pushing stupid policies. https://t.co/zwbeGfsG5T

So what about CNN? Are they any better?
— Sami Uddin (@SuperiorSami) March 17, 2019
The reason that the Right, in your opinion @FoxNews, enjoys highlighting you so damn much is because you are a great example of the Regressive Left that is attempting to force it’s way into the Corporate @DNC‘s role. They know all they have to let you do is speak and you will…

I don’t watch Fox News. I’m not GOP. I’m not an old white guy. I still fall in the view you unfavorably category. I can’t be labeled or pigeonholed. It’s not a conspiracy.

WHAT!!!!!! CNN said your approval rating was 91%

Actually, speaking as an older male, we don’t need Fox News to make our opinions for us.
We just read your own words.
Unlike the mindless minions that blindly follow you, we have been fully capable of forming our own opinions without having others tell us what to think.
