A new report on people in ICE custody being quarantined for contagious diseases proves again how allergic to facts the left really is.
An outbreak of mumps and other diseases has prompted a quarantine of over 2,000 people in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody, according to a CNN report on Monday that had liberals naturally blaming President Trump.
After no cases of mumps among detainees for the last two years, the agency reportedly saw an alarming spike in cases in the past 12 months with health investigations for mumps, chickenpox and influenza conducted at 51 ICE detention facilities. There were 236 reported cases of mumps reported for that time period.
“As of March 7, 2019, there was a total of 2,287 detainees cohorted for exposure to a detainee with a contagious condition,” ICE spokesperson Brendan Raedy said in a statement.
This is one of the most dangerous aspects of illegal aliens flooding this nation, and one we’re not talking about anywhere near enough.https://t.co/HmSfv4zVC7

The agency documented 423 people in ICE custody with influenza and 461 people with chickenpox last year while, during the period from January 2016 to February 2018, there were no reported cases of mumps, and only 73 of chickenpox and 34 cases of influenza.
More than 2,000 are afflicted which means thousands more have yet to show symptoms – but will, depending on disease gestation timetable.
MUMPS is 2-3 weeks following exposure. They’ll be in your town soon. https://t.co/agkSoBu2vF

“ICE takes very seriously the health, safety and welfare of those in our care. ICE is committed to ensuring the welfare of all those in the agency’s custody, including providing access to necessary and appropriate medical care,” Raedy said in the statement.
The fact that the U.S. is providing this care to hundreds of detainees regardless of their immigration status was lost on the left.
Wouldnt be suprised if ice agents were giving them infected blankets at this point.

During congressional testimony last week, US Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan explained how migrants arriving in the U.S. have been susceptible to the diseases which officials have been warning about.
“Migrants travel north from countries where poverty and disease are rampant, and their health can be aggravated by the physical toll of the journey. Many individuals we encounter may have never seen a doctor, received immunizations, or lived in sanitary conditions. Close quarters on trains and buses can hasten the spread of communicable diseases,” he said, according to CNN.
More than one-third of the 6,000 migrants who arrived in the Mexican city of Tijuana as part of the migrant caravan were suffering from serious medical issues like tuberculosis and chickenpox back in November, according to health officials.

Nearly 200 people at immigration detention facilities across Texas, ranging in age from 13 to 66 years old, have contracted mumps since October, the Texas Department of State Health Services said Tuesday.
“To some degree, this is foreseeable, because you’re bringing a lot of people and housing them in tight spaces for long periods,” Dr. David Persse, of Houston’s public health authority, said last week according to CNN. “They should be in isolation.”
Fox News’ Laura Ingraham noted on “The Ingraham Angle” on Monday that she was attacked by the left months ago for bringing up the potential health crisis now being experienced.
And while the left ridiculously slams Trump and his administration for immigration policies, they are not willing to admit that perhaps the migrants are fortunate to be in the care of U.S. officials who will get them the medical attention they need.
“ICE said that comprehensive medical care is provided to everyone in custody, including access to nurses, physicians, and to 24-hour emergency care,” CNN reported.
The CNN report on the quarantine sparked swift reaction on Twitter where many agreed on the state of emergency at the U.S. southern border.
Build the wall! Thousands of people are quarantined for diseases that have been eradicated in the US. Illegal aliens are putting America at risk. Even @CNN is reporting this now, so it must be serious.

I’m so glad we’re getting these diseases back that we almost eradicated in western society 100 years ago.

They should all be allowed to relocate in sanctuary cities. Leftists will accept them with open arms.

Give these people adequate care and ship them back. We can do the 3rd world a favor and send them back healthy. This is a gift to those countries.
