Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was roasted after she attempted to shame Republicans “who voted NO” on the Democrats’ sham anti-hate resolution.
The Democratic socialist sneered at GOP lawmakers who didn’t condemn bigotry, as she saw it, by supporting their Democratic colleagues in passing the watered-down bill condemning all forms of hate rather than target anti-Semitic remarks from Rep. Ilhan Omar.
“Did they get called out, raked over, ambushed in halls and relentlessly asked why not?” the freshman congresswoman from New York asked in a tweet Thursday, calling out the lack of “outrage” over the Republicans who essentially voted against the broadened language of the bill.
Where’s the outrage over the 23 GOP members who voted NO on a resolution condemning bigotry today?
Oh, there’s none?

President Trump slammed the vote as a “disgrace” and described Democrats as the “anti-Israel party.”

Ocasio-Cortez ignorantly blasted Republicans for condoning hate when even Jewish members of Congress would not vote yes on the weak-worded measure that only served to defend Omar’s smears. Rep. Lee Zeldin of New York condemned the bill citing Omar’s multiple apologies after repeatedly coming under fire for controversial anti-Semitic remarks.
