The left in America has become famous for creating their own reality, especially when it comes to the perpetuation of the victim mentality they rely so heavily upon.
Or when undermining Christianity in this country.
Never has this been more apparent than in the reaction to Sen. Kyrsten Sinema being sworn in by Vice President Mike Pence. Simena is the Arizona Democrat who replaced Jeff Flake in the Senate — she is celebrated on the left as the first openly bisexual U.S. Senator in history.
While far from the only one to twist reality to fit a political agenda, leftist activist and filmmaker Adam Best seemed to draw the most attention with a tweet (that he would eventually back peddle) on the swearing in — the objective being to ridicule Pence for his Christian beliefs.
Hell, the left even celebrated the fact that Simena, who must have thought the first day of the 116th Congress was casual day, took her oath on a law book rather than a Bible. Not that using a Bible ever stopped corrupt politicians from breaking the law.
“Homophobe Mike Pence had to swear in Kyrsten Sinema, the first out bisexual Senator in history, on a law book and not a bible. He seems uncomfortable and she’s having fun with it. This is everything,” Best tweeted.

But where Best differed from other progressive zealots is that he included a video of the occasion, as opposed to a photo — a video that clearly shows how wrong he was, as Pence is the epitome of class, appearing totally natural while Sinema was acting like a school girl on the first day of class.
(She’s going to fit in well with the Democrat’s contribution to what was once seen as an august body, joining the likes of Sens. Kamala Harris, Cory ‘Spartacus’ Booker and Mazie Hirono.)
But the truth has never stopped the secular left from getting their rant on, as seen in other tweets smearing the Republican vice president with a complete fabrication of what really happened.
Mike Pence swore in the first bisexual member of the senate yesterday. This was tough for Pence who is so homophobic he refused to celebrate America’s bicentennial.

Gotta love this .
Kyrsten Sinema, the first openly bisexual Senator in U.S. history, has been sworn into office.
By homophobic bigot Mike Pence.

Today, Vice President Mike Pence—who built his career on demonizing the LGBTQ+ community—had to swear in the first bisexual member of the U.S. Senate.

Kyrsten Sinema, the first openly bisexual Senator in U.S. history, has been sworn into office. By anti-queer Pence. While swearing in on a law book instead of a bible. This whole picture is poetic. #ChangeIsComing pic.twitter.com/r51ytfKc62

The fact that Kyrsten Sinema, the first openly bisexual AND agnostic US Senator, has to be sworn in by Mike Pence just makes it that much better.
And the book she held? A law book featuring the Constitution. pic.twitter.com/Dji4PfvdNk

But Best was quickly called out for his “unhinged” perception of reality — in large part because he provided the evidence to condemn himself.
Here’s a few examples of the pushback:
Pence looks perfectly comfortable.
This tweet is really about how you can’t be trusted to relay information accurately. Luckily there’s video to prove you’re unhinged from reality. https://t.co/x9m2FdTPZR

He swore in Ambassador Richard Grenell and his husband just fine.
Stop projecting your own bigotry onto other people. 🙄 https://t.co/cay799Ysa2

He seems friendly and gracious just like he seemed with every other Senator.
You pretend to fight for equality and then you make her into a victim when she is a strong woman who has been treated just like every other Senator. https://t.co/StYe0b9t3U

Being bested by so many, Best eventually responded by trying to move the goal post, claiming Pence is “always” weird — which is the first sign that he understands that he lost this round.
“Seems like some people disagree about Pence being weird. But here’s the thing — he’s ALWAYS weird. He’s weird in interviews, he was weird
Seems like some people disagree about Pence being weird. But here’s the thing — he’s ALWAYS weird. He’s weird in interviews, he was weird in that meeting with “Chuck and Nancy,” and he was weird here as well. So… ?♂️

Here’s a sampling of some of the reactions to the “reach” from Best, who seems to struggle with how to debate others:
Stretch before you reach that high
— Juni (@LookItsJuni) January 4, 2019
You are seriously reaching. Pence was professional, nothing else.

It’s a rebuttal to his own point lmao. He literally disproved his own point.

Did you watch the video? It looks like both are having fun with it and being pleasant to each other. I’ve been to a few swearing ins and there was nothing awkward or uncomfortable or unpleasant going on here.

“some people”, you mean pretty much everyone that responded to that tweet? just admit you let personal bias cloud your judgement
