Comedy is officially dead: Louis C.K. makes news for joking about school shooting survivors, and gender-neutral pronouns

Dark comedy has no place in hypersensitive post-Obama America, unless it’s being directed at the right, and that appears to be where comedian Louis C.K. went wrong.

After a number of women accused him of sexual misconduct, Louis C.K. promised to “step back and take a long time to listen.” Well, if the comedian did step back to listen he must not have liked what he was hearing, according to a bootleg recording of new material he performed at New York City’s Comedy Cellar earlier this month.

LANGUAGE WARNING:

The new set has Louis C.K. mocking the survivors of last year’s shooting at a Florida high school who went on to become gun control advocates, and dissing those who are unsure about their gender — talk about touching the third rail of liberal politics.

“They testify in front of Congress, these kids, like what the fuck, what are you doing? You’re young, you should be crazy, you should be unhinged, not in a suit saying ’I’m here to tell’ … F*ck you,” he said.

“You’re not interesting because you went to a high school where kids got shot,” Louis C.K. continued. “Why does that mean I have to listen to you? How does that make you interesting? You didn’t get shot, you pushed some fat kid in the way and now I need to listen to you talking?”

Those are fighting words for the rabid gun-control industry, which propped up these students as national voices.

And while it seems clear that Louis C.K. is referring to students like David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez, who went on national television to attacked the NRA with baseless accusations, the left will portray his words as a blanket statement against all survivors.

Louis C.K reportedly talked about losing $35 million in a single day, which is likely a reference to losing deals with FX Networks, Netflix and Universal Pictures following the sexual misconduct allegations.

He also compared young people today to when the 51-year-old was young, saying his generation was wild and crazy while today’s younger generation are “boring,” citing some of today’s politically correct nonsense.

“What are you, an old lady?” he asks.

Speaking about gender non-conforming people — see confused — Louis C.K. has no patience for them.

“They’re like royalty,” he said. “They tell you what to call them: ‘You should address me as they/them, because I identify as gender neutral.’ Oh, ok. You should address me as ‘there’ because I identify as a location. And the location is your mother’s c*nt.”

The media reaction will tell you the jokes are vile and unfunny, but it’s clear that the audience on the tape thinks otherwise.

Liberals were quick to characterize the comedian as a right-winger, although there’s not much in his past to support the claim.
