He may be out, but Trump wasn’t finished with Sessions: He ‘should be ashamed of himself.’

President Donald Trump torched his former attorney general Jeff Sessions for ever allowing the “HOAX” Russia investigation.

In a tweet on Sunday, the president slammed Sessions, who resigned last month, saying he “should be ashamed of himself” for allowing the special counsel probe into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.

The president quoted The Wall Street Journal’s Daniel Henninger who spoke on Fox News about how he believes prosecutors were in pursuit of a way to charge the president by prosecuting his former national security adviser, Michael Flynn.

After being appointed attorney general, Sessions had recused himself from any probe into Trump’s alleged campaign ties to Russia as he had been part of the president’s campaign.

Henninger floated his suggestion about Flynn, who is set to be sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to lying to the FBI, during Fox News’ “Journal Editorial Report” on Sunday.

District Court Judge Emmet G. Sullivan, who is presiding over Flynn’s case,  last week ordered a review of key FBI documents after Flynn’s lawyers revealed agents had encouraged him to speak to them without a lawyer.

The president blasted the “Russian Witch Hunt Hoax” as a “Democrat Scam” in another tweet, repeating his assertion all along that it has “Nothing to do with Collusion.”
