Whistleblowers testify Clinton Foundation operated as a ‘foreign agent,’ not a charitable organization

Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton testified about the Clinton Foundation before the House Oversight Committee.

The House Oversight Sub-Committee examined allegations that the Clinton Foundation engaged in illegal pay-to-play shenanigans while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State under President Barack Obama.

Whistle-blowers John Moynihan and Lawrence W. Doyle — who are both former expert forensic government investigators — testified that the Clinton Foundation did not operate as a charitable foundation, but as a “foreign agent” that was being paid to lobby on behalf of foreign governments and entities.

“The investigation clearly demonstrates that the foundation was not a charitable organization per say, but in point of fact was a closely held family partnership.

As such, it was governed in a fashion in which it sought in large measure to advance the personal interests of its principals.

[The Clinton Foundation] engaged in illegal activities and may be liable for millions of dollars in delinquent taxes and penalties.”

Congressman Mark Meadows — the outgoing chairman of the House Oversight Committee — pointed out that donations to the Clinton Foundation plunged after Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election, presumably because foreign entities couldn’t influence the US government using her as a well-paid puppet.

“Several reports suggest that the decrease in donations could reflect a ‘pay to play’ activity in the years prior to the decline in donations,” Meadows said.

The filings showed that the Clinton Foundation received $26.6 million in 2017 — down a staggering 58% from the $62.9 million it took in the previous year.

Tom Fitton — president of government watchdog Judicial Watch — noted that Clinton Foundation had received “staggering sums” of money from Saudi benefactors, estimated between $18 million and $50 million, when she was Secretary of State.

“While Mrs. Clinton was secretary of state, Bill Clinton gave two speeches in Saudi Arabia earning a total of $600,000,” Fitton said. “There is enough evidence to warrant serious investigations of the Clinton Foundation.”

Investigative journalist Sara Carter told Fox News host Sean Hannity that whistle-blowers John Moynihan and Lawrence W. Doyle said the FBI is investigating the Clinton Foundation.

“They basically admitted that the FBI is actually investigating the Clinton Foundation, and it’s been ongoing,” Carter said (see video starting at 4:57). “It’s huge.”

Attorney Gregg Jarrett noted that there’s enough evidence to nail Hillary and her crooked foundation.

“The evidence is there,” Jarrett said. “There’s an internal auditor about her foundation how there were quid-pro-quo benefits, the Doug Band e-mails which demonstrate that Bill Clinton didn’t just cross the line of impropriety — he demolished it.”

Jarrett continued: “[Bill Clinton used] the foundation an his own personal piggy bank as his wife put a ‘for sale’ sign on the door of her office as Secretary of State. It’s good that there is an FBI investigation. There should also be a grand jury to look at it.”
