Even those who don’t necessarily like Sen. Ted Cruz had to admit he won the prize with his Halloween tweet.
The Texas Republican owned Twitter on Halloween, and the liberals he triggered as a result were just a bonus.

Jokes that Cruz is actually the San Francisco “Zodiac Killer” who was never caught after going on a murder spree in the late 1960s and early 1970s appeared during the 2016 Republican presidential primary. The tweet from the senator on Wednesday, with cryptography like what the killer sent to newspapers at the time of the murders, was Cruz’ way of poking fun at the jokes – something he has done before.
And while liberals made the jokes at Cruz’ expense to begin with, they certainly could not take the joke in return as the incumbent senator, who is currently in a race against Democrat Beto O’Rourke to hold his seat, soon found out with the triggered left having a meltdown over his tweet.

Ted Cruz is the only person who pretends to be a serial killer to be MORE likable https://t.co/W3hcR6ILSm

Weird. People were murdered, Ted.
It’s one thing for a college sophomore to make this joke. Quite another for a U.S. senator.

But many more on Twitter thoroughly enjoyed the senator’s sense of humor.
