The Senate campaign of Arizona Democrat Kyrsten Sinema just went up in flames after a tone-deaf political cartoon portrayed her as a patriot shooting down her GOP opponent Martha McSally.
McSally is a trailblazing combat veteran who was the first female fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force. She ran missions against the Taliban while fighting in Afghanistan.
The drawing was created by Steve Benson — an editorial cartoonist for the Arizona Republic — who presumably thought he was helping Sinema when the stunt actually blew up in both their faces.
Twitter mocked the irony and hypocrisy of the situation.
“The media thinks Americans are stupid and don’t know the truth.”
This cartoon portrays Kyrsten Sinema as a patriot for shooting down her opponent Martha McSally, despite the fact that:
-McSally is a combat veteran
-Sinema supported Americans joining the Taliban to fight AmericansThe media thinks Americans are stupid and won't know the truth https://t.co/kkZ7l75IY2

“When you think you’re clever but remind everyone that Sinema said she didn’t care if people joined the Taliban.”

Kyrsten Sinema’s Senate campaign has been slowly imploding amid embarrassing revelations that she insulted the people of Arizona — the voters she wants to represent — by repeatedly calling them “crazy.”
Sinema even referred to the state as “the meth lab of democracy,” as BizPac Review has reported.
Sinema also told a radio show that she would have no problem if Americans wanted to join the Taliban to fight against the United States. “I don’t care,” she said. “If you want to do that, go ahead.”
Thanks to these and other gross missteps by the Democrat Party, many are predicting Republican victories in the midterm elections. Radio host Rush Limbaugh predicts the GOP will retain control of both houses of Congress. Booyah!
“We hold the House and increase the Senate,” Limbaugh told Fox News host Sean Hannity. “The Democrat Party deserves to lose in the biggest single electoral landslide defeat in my lifetime because of the actions they’ve taken just in the last month.”
Limbaugh echoed the predictions of GOP pollster John McLaughlin, who’s confident of a GOP midterm victory, saying the sleazy Democratic attacks on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh sealed their fate.
McLaughlin said Republican voters got enraged by the vicious, defamatory smear campaign against Kavanaugh in the weeks before his confirmation, and this galvanized and energized the GOP base.
“You’re seeing Republicans in the areas where Trump did well go up in the polls because the Trump voters are re-engaged,” McLaughlin told AM 970 radio show The Answer last week.
John McLaughlin was President Trump’s pollster during his 2016 race against Hillary Clinton. In the months leading up to the election, all the polls had Trump losing bigly to Hillary.
McLaughlin ignored the skewed polls back then, and he’s ignoring them now — because he looks at data and senses a sea change is afoot. And he is not swayed by the propaganda being bleated by the liberal media that a “blue wave” is coming.
Patriots, please vote on November 6. America’s future depends on you.
