Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., has been a fierce defender of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, but he should have known that the liberal Washington, D.C. crowd attending The Atlantic Festival would not be appreciative of that effort.
Which is not to say Graham just sat there and took in their booing, as the lawmaker snapped back at the audience.
“I’m the first person to say I want to hear from Dr. Ford. I thought she was handled respectfully,” Graham said.
“I thought Kavanaugh was treated like crap,” he added, prompting a chorus of boos from the room.
“Yeah well, boo yourself,” Graham snapped back.
Apparently, be accused of outrageous things such as sexually assaulting a young girl, leaving her to believe she might be killed, doesn’t qualify as bad treatment. Or being called a serial gang rapist.
Bu then, Graham had likely already irritated the audience while discussing Trump marveling over the spotty memory of Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.

The senator said he didn’t like what Trump said, before referencing how Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broaddrick were treated when they made accusations of against Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct — Broaddrick actually accused him of raping her.
“It could be worse,” Graham said of the treatment Ford is seeing, noting that “we’ve come a long way since 1998.”
The reaction online shows that the latest version of Graham may be the best yet:

Love Lindsey Graham. Confidence based in perspective.

Mob mentality. If you deviate from the narrative we want to hear, lies or not, you’re to be dismissed.
