‘F**k s**t up: State Dept. staffer boasts about ‘resisting’ Trump on taxpayer’s dime in explosive exposé

A newly released Project Veritas video has exposed a Democratic Socialist actively resisting the Trump administration on the taxpayer’s dime while working for the State Department.

The video is the first installment in an “undercover video investigation series unmasking the deep state,” and featured State Department employee, Stuart Karaffa explaining how he engages in socialist political activity while at work.

“I’m careful about it. I don’t leave a paper trail, like I leave emails, and like any press s**t that comes up I leave that until after 5:30. But as soon as 5:31 hits, got my like draft messages ready to send out,” Karaffa told an undercover Project Veritas journalist, explaining how he does related work for the Metro DC Democratic Socialists of America while he is on the job at the State Department.

Karaffa is a ranking member of the Metro DC DSA.

He also tracks Virginia political news online for the DSA while he is clocked in on his federal job.

“You could put two and two together probably. With like web traffic…. So with web traffic, I mean I could make the case before a court of law that- I’m going to the Virginia sort of, campaign finance website- that I’m just interested in what people are doing politically,” he explained.  “But if they also go and look at like DSA minutes and like Officer positions they’ll be like, ‘that’s weird, you were the co-chair of the electoral caucus, and you spent three hours on a Virginia campaign finance website.’”

Getting caught or punished is not something Karaffa seemed worried about.

“Maybe someday I’ll go to board of elections jail, probably not,” he said. “I have nothing to lose. It’s impossible to fire federal employees.”

Karaffa seems far from being an impartial State Department employee, revealing his attitude toward the policies under President Donald Trump’s administration.

“Resist everything… Every level. F**k sh*t up,” he told the undercover journalists.

Additional deep state investigation videos are set to be released by Project Veritas soon.

“We’ve heard a lot about the Deep State; holdovers from the previous administration resisting change or nameless and faceless bureaucrats slowing things down or leaking secrets in an effort to undermine this administration,” Project Veritas President James O’Keefe said.

“What is truly striking is their boldness, they are not afraid,” he added.  “They are even boastful about a warped reality, where they won’t get caught and can’t get fired even if they did.”

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee slammed the “swamp” mentality evident in the video.

Karaffa is only one of many, president of The Heartland Institute and former U.S. Representative for Kansas, Tim Huelskamp tweeted.

Jenny Beth Martin, co-founder of Tea Party Patriots, gave a call to arms in her tweet reacting to the new video.

Others weighed in on Twitter as well, thanking O’Keefe and his team for exposing the dark places.
