What a show! Gutierrez loses his mind over Trump’s ill-prepared response to hurricane – before it arrives

Democrats are so intent on bashing President Donald Trump to score some political points that some have lost a grip on reality.

Rep. Luis Gutierrez unloaded on the president Wednesday, slamming his actions and response to the aftermath of Hurricane Florence. Only thing is, the storm has not even reached land yet.

The Illinois Democrat lambasted Trump about the poor response to the “calamity” unleashed by the hurricane – which was still two days from making landfall somewhere along the eastern coast of the Carolinas as he spoke.

“You know what I fear is the calamity,” Gutierrez said on MSNBC’s “All In” on Tuesday.

“The calamity of the lack of coordination of the government with the National Guard and with local government,” the grandstanding Democrat, who called General John Kelly a “disgrace in uniform” and was arrested at Trump Tower last year, ranted.

“The lack of responsiveness and preparedness of this government because the president he wants to find out who is the one who wrote that op-ed piece. The chaos in the White House because he wants the Justice Department… Because he’s so consumed by the calamity that exists and the chaos that exists,” he said.

On the contrary, Trump’s response to the Category 2 storm threatening residents from Georgia to Virginia, has shown anything but a lack of preparedness.

But the liberal media has targeted the president for everything that could go wrong with dealing with Hurricane Florence – even days before the storm has hit. The editorial board of the Washington Post even accused Trump of being “complicit” for the hurricane because of his views on climate change.

The rant by Gutierrez and even other Democrats slamming Trump was roundly criticized by conservatives like Rush Limbaugh who predicted the attacks aimed at making this hurricane the equivalent of 2005’s Hurricane Katrina.

“Do not doubt me,” Limbaugh warned on his radio show Tuesday. “No matter what happens in the aftermath here, Trump is going to be blamed for this hurricane and its aftermath, and they’re gonna be calling it Trump’s Katrina — even, maybe, before it hits. You watch.”

Republican National Committee Spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany slammed the new low by Gutierrez with his “appalling” attempt to score political points.

Twitter users cut Gutierrez no slack for his ridiculous rant against the president.

And one more parting shot.
