Indignant Joy Behar: ‘How dare’ Trump be allowed to nominate SCOTUS when he’s under Mueller probe

Joy Behar is still fuming over the nomination of a new Supreme Court justice, demanding to know how President Trump was allowed to make the pick.

The co-host of ABC’s “The View” asked why someone who is under investigation is allowed to choose the next justice of the U.S. Supreme Court in an angry rant on the show Tuesday.

“Why would a president who’s under investigation by the FBI for obstruction of justice and collusion be allowed to pick a Supreme Court justice who will be there – I’ll be dead, there are many people in this room who will still be alive and will need abortions and what have you, need healthcare” Behar said.

“How dare he be allowed to do this when he’s under investigation?!” she added to cheers and applause.

Never mind that clueless liberals like Behar perpetuate the lie that Trump is under FBI investigation at all.

The hosts were discussing Trump’s recent Supreme Court pick, Brett Kavanaugh, and the implications of his conservative views. The discussion centered, not surprisingly, on Roe v. Wade which the left has been in a panic about since Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement from the high court, allowing Trump to appoint his second justice.

“I would say for people like you, Joy, who are freaking out that Roe v. Wade is going to be overturned,” co-host Meghan McCain said, “it is not Judge Jeanine Pirro, which I thought was at one point in time was actually a possibility for Supreme Court Justice so for you it could’ve been much worse.”

“He might just be a quieter version of Judge Jeanine,” Behar responded.

“No but we believe in balance of power and checks and balances. We haven’t got that in any of the three branches of government right now,” she opined later in the segment.

Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz discussed the nomination later in the show, slamming Republicans for blocking former President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland in 2016.

“Absolute theft. Unconstitutional,” Dershowitz said. “The Constitution says advise and consent. It doesn’t say delay and postpone.”

“Well then how come Mitch McConnell is not in jail?” Behar jumped in. “That’s what I want to know.”

“I’m against putting people in jail unless they’ve actually committed crimes. I know that’s a radical position,” Dershowitz laughed.

But there was no appeasing Behar who pouted and spouted through the show.

“Why shouldn’t Democrats play hard ball?” she whined.  “Why should we always be the snowflakes?”
