MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough just slammed Trump rally goers in Montana as ‘the 6,500 meanest people’

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough called President Donald Trump supporters who attended Thursday night’s rally in Montana “the 6,500 meanest people.”

“At what point is there decency in the crowd?” Scarborough asked. “Where people stop cheering when he mocks a man who has brain cancer and who’s again, fighting for his life?”

The “Morning Joe” crew was taking issue with Trump being Trump, as in not holding back biting criticism of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and former President George H.W. Bush.

“To me the worst part of last night is [Trump] going after John McCain who’s dying of cancer, again,” said co-host Willie Geist. “And George H.W. Bush who just lost his wife and is suffering from Parkinson’s disease.”

In their hatred of Trump, the liberals suddenly became fanboys of these Republicans, but their actions suggest a change in tactics in the battle against this president, who has weathered every attack the left has thrown at him thus far.

The new approach appears to be to attack his supporters.

“I’m not shocked by Donald Trump doing this,” Scarborough said of the criticism. “Donald Trump doesn’t understand this, because he is the most selfish man who has ever sat in the White House.”

“This is about the Republicans that are sitting in the crowds, that voted for George H.W. Bush in 1998 and 1992, and voted for John McCain in 2008, who are now sitting there laughing at two men in their final days,” Scarborough said. “What does that say about their character?”

“That crowd, it’s 6,500 people,” co-host and soon-to-be wife Mika Brzezinski chimed in.

“Well, they must have found the 6,500 meanest people,” Scarborough replied.

“This is 6,500 people cheering on lies,” Brzezinski added later. “They are being desensitized as they laugh at those who served our country who are dying right now. And he’s bringing them along.”

As for Thursday’s rally, Trump was in rare form, He blasted Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. Not only did he dare her to take a DNA test to prove her persistent claims that she’s Native-American, the president offered to shell out $1 million if she does.

The president also slammed the Congolese immigrant who was arrested after she climbed the Statute of Liberty on the 4th of July to protest Trump’s “zero tolerance” toward illegal immigration, calling the woman a “clown” and praising police for risking their lives to apprehend her.
