CNN’s Angela Rye claims Maxine Waters being criticized because she’s black

“This is the America of lynch mobs, too.” CNN contributor Angela Rye played the race card on Steve Cortes, the president of the Trump Hispanic Advisory Council, while defending Maxine Waters’ incitement of mob harassment against female Trump aides Sarah Sanders and Kirstjen Nielsen.

“It has everything to do with the fact this black woman is intimidating to some people who can’t handle the truth!” Rye shouted on CNN. “It has everything to do with race!”  Um, how does that explain the attacks against Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren?

Rye claims President Trump and his supporters are “intimidated” by 79-year-old Congresswoman Maxine Waters, and that’s why they’re upset over her calls to bully and threaten Trump aides. Um, okay.

Steve Cortes, who’s of Colombian descent, was previously a broadcast journalist and a successful Wall Street executive. Like many law-abiding Hispanics, Cortes opposes illegal immigration.

But Angela Rye claims that Americans who criticize Maxine Waters’ calls for the mob bullying of Trump supporters who oppose illegal immigration are simply racist.

“Her words are so powerful and for whatever reason, the Republicans, and apparently some Democrats, are threatened by her power and her courage,” Rye said. “Her words are not only taken out of context, she’s misquoted!…It has everything to do with race!”

“This is the America of lynch mobs, too,” Rye added to her irrational rant.

Rye insisted that Waters did not incite mob violence when she urged liberals to harass Trump supporters by saying: “If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them! Tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere!”

Waters’ encouragement of mob bullying was so disturbing that even fellow Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer condemned her, saying no one should call for the harassment of political opponents.

Angela Rye’s cavalier use of the race card on a fellow minority is laughable, especially because many other black Americans have trashed Maxine Waters for prioritizing the interests of illegal immigrants above her own constituents

As BizPac Review previously reported, Waters was blasted by a black female voter from her California district in June 2017. The woman called the 13-term Congresswoman a “black racist” whose pro-illegal immigration stances have caused African-Americans to lose jobs to illegals.

The black female Trump supporter said:

“Maxine Waters destroyed the black community! She has to go! She’s paid taxpayer money to discriminate against American citizens. And we’re not going to have it! She’s been in office too long doing nothing!

She lied to the black community, saying she was going to bring us jobs. She gave those jobs to illegal criminals! We want her out! She’s been in office for too long!

You are a black racist! You hate blacks! All the jobs went to illegals! You gave our jobs to illegals! We want you out!”

Ironically, Waters did not like when a journalist confronted her in public — the way she urged liberals to do to Trump supporters.

The California congresswoman allegedly assaulted reporter Laura Loomer for asking: “Where are conservatives allowed to go? Do we have to sit at the back of the bus? Where can we eat [without being harassed]?”

Loomer is now pressing charges against Waters for hitting her in the face.
