Glenn Beck pulls mic, walks off CNN set after intensely hostile interview ends with insulting question

Former Never-Trumper Glenn Beck blasted CNN for its hypocritical coverage of the longstanding border crisis, saying its over-the-top propaganda masquerading as “news” is dividing the country and inciting violence against Border Patrol agents and female Trump aides.

“The media is so blind. I couldn’t take any more of it on CNN and Reliable Sources,” Beck tweeted after walking off Brian Stelter’s CNN show.

Beck’s fiery interview went viral after TheBlaze founder walked off when Stelter pivoted from their discussion of the decades-long border crisis to focus on Beck’s struggling media company.

Beck accused Stelter of deflecting criticism about CNN’s biased anti-Trump coverage by trying to embarrass him with questions about his flailing company.

In the interview, Beck blamed CNN and the mainstream media for dividing the country and fomenting manufactured, selective outrage that has escalated into violent rhetoric and abuse against female Trump aides, like when Sarah Sanders was kicked out of a restaurant with her children.

“You’re dividing us even more!” Beck said. “We’ve had two people threaten the lives of a Congressman’s child and the President’s child. Where are the people that were so worried about language and tone on television? Don’t you understand what you’re doing? You’re driving people into the arms of Donald Trump.”

Like millions of Americans, Beck wants to know why CNN blithely glossed over the crisis and Obama’s mass-deportation of illegals during his eight years as president.

Beck said CNN is suddenly pretending to care about migrant children in order to attack Trump and shamelessly pander for TV ratings. “This is all about ratings!” Beck told Brian Stelter. “Stop dividing us.”

That’s when Stelter pivoted away from the discussion to ask about Beck’s struggling company and if he’s looking to sell TheBlaze. In response, a disgusted Beck admonished Stelter to stop playing “those games” and then walked off mid-interview.

“I’m sitting here ready to talk to you about the detaining of children and trying to break families apart, something that has been happening since [Bill Clinton’s Attorney General] Janet Reno,” Beck said. “And you want to play those games? Have a nice day.”

As BizPac Review has reported, Glenn Beck — a former Trump-hater who endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016 — announced he’s now on the Trump Train and will vote for him in 2020.

Beck also predicted that President Trump will win the 2020 election in a “landslide,” citing the public’s growing distrust of the irresponsible, biased media.

In his CNN interview this weekend, Beck slammed CNN and other mainstream media for largely ignoring the border crisis when the Obama administration separated children from their illegal-immigrant parents and beat and starved the kids.

Many Americans are just learning about the longstanding migrant-children crisis because of the recent virulent press coverage that’s being used to attack President Trump. But the anti-Trump reports are boomeranging against the media because they keep getting caught in massive lies.

President Trump weighed in on the sudden media interest over migrant children: “Such a difference in the media coverage of the same immigration policies between the Obama Administration and ours. Actually, we have done a far better job in that our facilities are cleaner and better run than were the facilities under Obama.”
