Mika deeply triggered by Ivanka’s ‘date night’ post with daughter, uses it to shamelessly virtue signal

Mika Brzezinski set her claws upon Ivanka Trump as the MSNBC host proved again how intolerant liberal women really are.

The “Morning Joe” co-host lashed out at President Trump’s daughter on Friday for being “tone deaf.” Her crime? Posting a photo on her Instagram account about a “date night” with her six-year-old daughter, Arabella Kushner.

“Not only is this a story about who we are and redefining who we are in the worst way, this is a story about women and their vital roles as mothers,” Brzezinski said Friday, citing a recent report about illegal immigrant parents waiting for months to be reunited with their children after being deported.

“When you have babies being taken away from their mothers, you have to ask why the counselor to the president – who was brought in to help the president create good policies surrounding women, parental leave, domestic policies that are important to women in this country – you have to ask why Ivanka Trump is so tone-deaf to post a picture about her special day yesterday with her daughter,” Brzezinski said.

Trump’s photo, taken by Arabella, featured Ivanka balancing on a log at a lake and was captioned “Date night.”

Brzezinski proudly declared she had left a comment on Trump’s Instagram post.

“I wish you would speak for all mothers and take a stand for all mothers and children,” she wrote. ‘With respect, your posts make me so sad. I remember we spoke about them and all the hopeful goals you had for all women. There is still time.”

Brzezinski’s rant was part of her condemnation of the Trump administration policy of separating children from their parents if they cross the southern border illegally.

“Illegal entry into the United States is a crime — as it should be. Persons who violate the law of our nation are subject to prosecution,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Thursday, according to The New York Post.

“Our policies that can result in short-term separation of families is not unusual or unjustified. American citizens that are jailed do not take their children to jail with them,” Sessions said. “And non-citizens who cross our borders unlawfully — between our ports of entry — with children are not an exception. They are the ones who broke the law; they are the ones who endangered their own children on their trek.”

Brzezinski unloaded on Sessions as well in her on-air comments, concluding that Ivanka Trump is “missing the mark” by daring to spend time with her daughter while other mothers – who have broken the law – do not get to do the same.

“Again, just missing the mark every step of the way because this is about who we are as a nation. It’s also about women and their vital role as mothers,” she opined. “We’re losing. Every, every step here, we’re losing a sense of who we are. And it’s wrong and we need people in there with stronger voices.”

This is the second time liberals have spun a beutiful family moment shared by Ivanka into something ugly for political gain. Last month, the first daughter came under heavy fire when she posted a picture of herself with her youngest son. Under the spell of fake news, the left was outraged Ivanka would post something so sweet when ‘1500 immigrant’ children were ‘missing’ in the U.S.

That report turned out to be false.
