Citing evident that a spy was place in President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro said during her opening statement Saturday night that “a Deep State from President [Barack] Obama on down that did everything in its power to destroy Donald Trump.”
But Pirro had a little advice for the cabal: Next time, try setting up someone “who’s dumber than you are.”
“We’ve come face to face with hard evident that the deep state planned to take down our duly elected president,” she warned viewers.
The Fox News host noted that evidence shows that “at least seven Trump associates” were under “secret surveillance,” suggesting there is more we don’t know “as the FBI and DOJ fight the release of information.”
Pirro played clips of former FBI director James Comey and former CIA director John Brennan denying the existence of spies, before showing a clip of James Clapper, the former director of National Intelligence, admitting there were spies, but they spied on Russia, not Trump.
“The Obama administration was so determined to get Hillary Clinton elected and Donald Trump defeated that they let Hillary skate on her criminal activity and created a narrative of criminal activity on the part of Donald Trump,” she said. “They created a false predicate, a made up dossier paid for by Hillary Clinton, the DNC and the FBI in order to get a court to approve spying on the Trump campaign.”
And this went on for a year, with the effort being kept close, at the highest levels of the FBI, she charged.
Pirro presented a detailed case of how Trump was targeted by members of the “liars, leakers and liberals” in the Obama Administration, before then offering them a little unsolicited advice.
“I, for one, am sick and tired of these liars, leakers and liberals attacking our president when they are the ones who tried to frame him,” she said.
“Here’s a primer for all of you: if you’re going to set up a president to try to frame him, do it against someone who’s dumber than you are.”
