CNN was raked over the coals for its choice of words to describe the U.S. Embassy opening in Jerusalem.
There was no doubt about the biased view of the network after it reported on the moving of the embassy to Jerusalem and its official opening on Monday.

Never mind that the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 was passed by Congress and supported – in word only – by each U.S. president until Trump, who finally delivered.
The people and leaders of Israel thanked President Trump for his friendship and honored him with banners, signs, tributes and speeches.
“What a glorious day,” says PM @netanyahu, addressing US Embassy dedication. “Remember this moment. This is history.” Says that by recognizing history, Pres Trump has made history. pic.twitter.com/fLLjweEdzU

CNN marked the occasion in its own way, and got torched in the process.
What a pissy headline
Biased much? The tradition, everywhere else in the world, is the US Embassy goes in a nation’s capital
This is actually breaking with BS to follow tradition https://t.co/DZeFgbGvyM

Jerusalem will be Israel’s capital long after CNN is out of business.

“Break with tradition” is an interesting way to describe recognizing a foreign capital as required by a 1995 law… https://t.co/tZTguqULhu

The tradition of presidential candidates promising to do it and then not. The tradition of ignoring congress since 1995

“Traditionally”, Presidents have lied.
Trump has officially broke this “Tradition” https://t.co/pBvNVuVqey

“break with tradition” = Jerusalem Embassy Act: to provide for the relocation of the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 is a public law of the United States passed by the 104th Congress on Oct. 23, ’95, and supported by EVERY President since ’95. https://t.co/nmIZhIjxpS

What tradition? US Embassy is SUPPOSED TO BE on Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, duh.

What an embarrassing headline. But this is what the hard working tax paying Americans expect from CNN.
