Judge holds court on new report: ‘Memo to Senate, you are not president…the American people are not stupid!’

Herman Cain and Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz blasted congressional leaders who continue “micromanaging” and  “obstructing” President Donald Trump’s agenda despite the clear voice of the American people.

Gaetz reacted to the release of the over 250-page House Intelligence Committee report on Friday on its months-long investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

“This report is a decisive win for the president because it supports what the president has been saying all along,” the Florida Republican told Fox News’ Jeannine Pirro on Friday, saying this is more than enough reason to “disband” the probe by special counsel Robert Meueller which was based on a “rotten premise” that has been disproved.

Cain suggested a “slow-walking” of the long-awaited report by Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz in order to get past the 2018 midterm elections.

“They are trying to slow-walk this cloud, slow-walk these investigations such that they get through November 2018. But here’s the thing,” the radio host and syndicated columnist added, “the American people, including some Democrats, are not stupid.”

Cain noted there has been enough evidence to surface on former FBI Director James Comey to prove he has “lied and discredited himself,” adding that Americans are “not going to swallow the government lies that the Democrats and the liberals are trying to push.”

Gaetz also blasted a bill advanced by  Senate Judiciary Committee Charles Grassley proposing to protect Mueller from being fired by Trump, saying that there are plenty more important issues that lawmakers should be focused on than the “frivolity” they are chasing.

The Florida lawmaker criticized some GOP leaders who are “more interested in protecting Bob Mueller than the U.S. border, than our Constitution.”

“I wish the U.S. Senate would take up the 500 bills the House has sent over to advance the Trump agenda,” he said.

Cain resoundingly agreed.

“Memo to Senate: You are not president,” he said.

“They are trying to micromanage the president by telling him who he can fire and not fire. It’s his decision and they seem to forget this,” he added. “Let him do his job, United States Senate, Democrats and Republicans.”

Pirro noted that Americans are “fed up with Congress” which has lower approval ratings than “career criminals,” and Gaetz agreed.

“Congress has a 9 percent approval rating. I think Muammar Qaddafi had a 13 percent approval rating and his own people dragged him in the streets and killed him, ” the lawmaker said, referring to the Libyan dictator who was ousted by a revolt in 2011.

“We need to engage in the president’s agenda and move it forward,” Gaetz said.

“The American people did not elect this president to sit idly by and rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic, he said, adding that the nation needs a “disruptor” who is going to change Washington which has too many “swamp creatures” in both the Republican and Democratic parties.

Cain concluded by diagnosing Democrats with “TDS.”

“Trump Derangement Syndrome is no longer a medical disorder, it is a mental disease” that Democrats are suffering from, he said, adding that their next move in the face of the redacted report by the House Intelligence Committee will not be a a report of their own.

“They are going to come up with what they’ve always come up with: Deny, denial and distract,” Cain said.
