All eyes were on Ivanka Trump Tuesday evening, with the first daughter appearing quite fashionable as President Donald Trump hosted his first state dinner honoring French President Emmanuel Macron.
Escorted by husband Jared Kushner, Ivanka is seen in the video below blowing well-wishers a kiss.
The couple arrived early for the formal event and she looked fabulous in a $13,686 pink tulle Rodarte gown, according to the Daily Mail.
Pink polka dots or not, it’s not often that Ivanka Trump is not the center of attention.
She completed the ensemble with drop earrings, a pair of black stilettos and her hair pulled up in a bun.
Designed for “the most elegant of occasions,” according to Matchesfashion.com, the dress was made in the U.S. and is designed “to swathe the figure, with ruffles floating across the boat neck and V-shaped back, a striking blossom embellishment at the pleated waist, and a floor-skimming tiered skirt.”
Both Millie Bobby Brown and Kirsten Dunston reportedly wore the same dress, or a version thereof, on the red carpet.
Ivanka shared a photo from the White House on Twitter Tuesday night, along with the caption: “Memories from a wonderful State Dinner.”

Ivanka looked equally stunning earlier in the day as she and Kushner, both advisers to the president, welcomed the French president to Washington.
Wearing an off-the-shoulder black and white dress, she finished the look off with hoop earrings, black heels and her blond hair pulled behind her.
While the dress was described as black and white, it’s actually nautical midnight-blue, from Oscar de la Renta’s resort ’18 collection.
“The curve-hugging dress, which retails at $1,990, features a boat neckline with an accompanying white bow detail and an elegant flared tea-length hemline,” Footwear News reported.
Ivanka, 36, wore the dress at a luncheon honoring military spouses and families for their service, where the first daughter spoke.
“To all of our amazing US military spouses, your courage often goes unnoticed, but that makes it all the more heroic. You are truly the spine of America’s Armed Forces, and our Administration will ALWAYS honor, support, and empower you,” she tweeted, including photos of the event.
