Now that’s one helluva pucker!
Outspoken conservative actor James Woods won the internet on Saturday when he weighed in on former CIA Director John Brennan attacking President Donald Trump over the firing of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

Brennan, who served in the Obama administration, engaged in what may be an unprecedented attack on a succeeding administration by ripping President Trump as a “disgraced demagogue,” and openly encouraging the country to “triumph over you.”
“When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history,” Brennan tweeted Saturday morning. “You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America…America will triumph over you.”

Brennan wasn’t the only Obama administration official to engage in open warfare against Trump.
Former Attorney General Eric Holder also took to Twitter in the wake of McCabe’s firing to question “an increasingly erratic president” for his role in events, running with the popular narrative on the left that Trump is “dangerous.”
“Analyze McCabe firing on two levels: the substance and the timing,” tweeted the only sitting Cabinet member in U.S. history to be held in contempt by Congress. “We don’t know enough about the substance yet. The timing appears cruel and a cave that compromised DOJ independence to please an increasingly erratic President who should’ve played no role here. This is dangerous.”

Trump called attention to “corruption going on at the highest levels of the FBI” in a tweet responding to “choirboy” McCabe being fired, so it’s understandable that Team Obama is now sweating it.
“Andrew McCabe FIRED, a great day for the hard working men and women of the FBI – A great day for Democracy.” the president tweeted. “Sanctimonious James Comey was his boss and made McCabe look like a choirboy. He knew all about the lies and corruption going on at the highest levels of the FBI!”

Lost in all the hubbub is that McCabe was fired for allegedly authorizing the leaking of sensitive information to a reporter and then misleading investigators when asked about it.
Either way, the only certainty in all of this is that James Woods is one popular cat.
