Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” gleefully gloated that President Trump’s team “might go to jail for the rest of their lives.”
“I think they’re shocked that the noose is tightening and that people might go to jail for the rest of their lives,” Mika crowed.
Brzezinski made the remarks while sitting alongside her fiancé, Joe Scarborough, during a panel discussion of Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, which has totally unraveled.
In a laughable case of the pot-calling-the-kettle-black, Mika slammed Trump associates as “un-self-aware and dumb.”
“I don’t know if they were arrogant or just incredibly un-self-aware and really dumb about what the job was about, how important it was, and how under the microscope every move you made would be,” she said. “I think they just thought they’d go in there and flim-flam and riff through it.”
Brzezinski’s henpecked fiancé dutifully agreed. He believes Donald Trump, a billionaire, became president so he could make more money. In reality, Trump’s net worth has plunged since he took office as a result of the nonstop media attacks against him and his family.
“It was all about money. It was all about making contacts,” Scarborough said. “Even now that he’s president, it’s still all about money … He’s thinking every day, ‘How can I leverage this so when I get out of the White House I can make even more money?’”
Joe must have Trump confused with his liberal lover’s idol, Hillary Clinton. Mika and Joe still have not gotten over their obsession with Trump, since they talk about him nonstop on “Morning Joe.”
Ironically, the couple was once close friends with Trump and invited him on their show numerous times over the years. Once Trump became the GOP presidential candidate, they have thrown petty jabs back and forth at each other.
But could Mika’s fury stem from a deep-seated, unrequited secret crush? That’s what observers suggested on social media, pointing to old footage of the 50-year-old divorcée flirting with the billionaire mogul before he became president.
“Mika Brzezinski is a gushing!” one Twitter user chided. “Clearly, she’s got it bad for the Don, Don.”

Speaking of going to jail, maybe Joe Scarborough should worry more about himself instead of obsessing over President Trump.
