MSNBC’s Mika isn’t only jumping on the anti-Bill Clinton bandwagon, she’s throwing Hillary into the mix too.
While some on the left are finally willing to admit they’ve been covering for a serial sexual harasser, few have been willing to shun his biggest enabler — until now.
Mika Brzezinski’s Morning Joe rant came in response to a tweet President Trump launched against Hillary over the weekend. In the tweet, Trump called Hillary the “biggest loser of all time” and rhetorically begged her to get on with her life.
As another, MSNBC anchor read Trump’s tweet on air, Mika let out a dramatic sigh saying, “Oh, my God.”
But Mika quickly admitted that her exasperated response wasn’t about Trump’s tweet (for once). In a surprising turn, Brzezinski went on to blast the glaring and unrelenting hypocrisy that’s been shoved in the faces of Americans by Hillary Clinton.
“You guys, I’m sorry, but…” After a long pause, she admitted, “I’m not sorry, actually.”
And then Mika went in for the kill.
“Hillary Clinton needs to stop. She needs to stop talking about this topic unless Bill Clinton wants to come forward and apologize for being a sexual harasser, for settling with women, for what happened with – he needs to apologize. He needs to apologize as quickly as Al Franken did.”
Hillary has long been embraced by Hollywood celebs and feminists as she proudly touted herself a champion of women’s rights. Hillary’s rise as feminist icon has been a mind-boggling phenomenon that women on the opposite side of the political aisle, in particular, could never figure out.
And it looks like Mika has finally seen the light — at least when it comes to Hillary, anyway.
“Unless you want to come to the table with some honesty. Because this is why we’re here. This is why we’re here with Donald J. Trump, the guy who … had enough on the record to know that he doesn’t have a great record with women, who is destroying every step that we have made in the past ten years for women. …
“This is why he’s here — because of hypocrisy.”
