DNC official’s email reveals bigoted policy against ‘cisgender straight white males’

‘Straight white males need not apply.’

That’s the message coming directly from a leaked Democrat National Committee email meant for DNC insiders. The email sent on Monday by Data Services manager Madeleine Leader was seeking to fill spots in the DNC’s technology department.

Leader explained the DNC wanted to rebuild its tech team and was focused on “hiring and maintaining a staff of diverse voices.”

She went on to add a personal qualification:

“I personally would prefer that you not forward to cisgender straight white males, since they’re already in the majority.”

Cisgender is defined by Wikipedia as “a term for people whose gender identity matches the sex that they were assigned at birth.”

In other words, if you happen to be a straight white male who accepts that you’re a white male, your voice doesn’t count to the DNC.

A disapproving anonymous DNC source spoke exclusively with the Daily Signal and told them the following:

Clearly the DNC is doubling down on a failed strategy that has alienated staffers and voters alike. We want to be judged based on the quality of our work, not on identity politics. How can we trust the leadership of the DNC if they don’t even trust us?

Answer: You can’t.

As to be expected, the DNC is denying it had any knowledge of the email before it was sent by Leader,

“The email in question was not authorized by the DNC nor was it authorized by senior leadership,” DNC spokesman Michael Tyler said in a statement to The Hill.

Tom Perez leads the DNC along with socialist Minn. Democrat Keith Ellison. As the Daily Signal pointed out, both have vowed to increase the group’s “inclusivity.”

This email seems to have more than missed the mark.
