E! News correspondent hit with sexual harassment claim as ‘dildo’ text message does not go over well

E! News correspondent Ken Baker has been vocal about his disgust over the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse scandal that rocked Hollywood to its core, but his glass house came crashing down this week after he was hit with claims of sexual harassment.

Including claims that a text referenced “a Tiffany dildo.”

Two former E! News employees who have worked with Baker told TheWrap he has a history of inappropriate behavior.

One of the woman said Baker invited her to sit in his lap after she was called into his dimly lit office, the online entertainment news source reported. She said Baker often made inappropriate comments, or touched her in ways that made her uncomfortable.

The other woman, a former E! News intern, said Baker kissed her without her consent in 2011 and repeatedly propositioned her for sex. She said he sent a text in 2015 saying he wanted to give her “a Tiffany dildo with ‘Ken Baker’ engraved on the shaft.”

Baker responded to TheWrap with a statement, although he didn’t come right out and deny the allegations

“I am very disturbed by these anonymous allegations, which make my heart ache. I take them very seriously,” he said. “I care deeply for people’s feelings and sincerely live in a way that treats people with dignity and respect.”

This is not the first time Baker has been accused of sexually inappropriate behavior, with TheWrap noting the he was sued in 2007 while working for Us Weekly.

According to the lawsuit that was later dismissed, Baker hired his children’s nanny as a reporter and sent her texts that read: “I want to have sex with you,” and “I want to see you pregnant with pigtails.”

After the initial article, a third woman who worked with Baker came forward, telling TheWrap that he groped her after a 2006 party at the Playboy Mansion and joked with her in an email about “borrowing viagra from Hef.”
