You won’t believe why this clueless Dem Rep thinks John McCain will now make ‘good choices’ on Obamacare

During a Tamaqua, Pennsylvania town hall at Lehigh Carbon Community College, Democratic Rep. Matt Cartwright spilled what he thinks is the real reason John McCain will make “good choices” when it comes to keeping the healthcare monstrosity known as Obamacare.

It’s because he is “staring death in the face,” according to the Pennsylvania lawmaker.

In a video obtained by The Daily Caller, Cartwright is seen talking to the audience about the bill’s future and McCain’s crucial role in saving it.

“Something tells me McCain, he’s staring death in the face right now, so he’s probably going to make good choices. He’s not going to bend to political pressure,” Cartwright said.

While Cartwright is correct about the Arizona senator’s July brain cancer diagnosis and treatment, he is apparently completely unaware of McCain’s horrific record when it comes to betraying conservative causes. From healthcare to border security to trying to block President Trump at every conceivable turn, John McCain has always been the quintessential RINO.

So it was no surprise to anyone that the Republican Obamacare repeal was torpedoed by McCain despite the fact that he constantly campaigned on doing away with the bill.

And, deathbed or not, it will be no surprise when he stabs conservatives in the back yet again by voting no on Graham-Cassidy, even though Graham is one of his best friends in the Senate.

Watch the video below:

Cartwright has since apologized for his “insensitive” remarks and expressed his “deep admiration” for the Arizona senator:
