While not going exactly as she might have planned, Megyn Kelly scored an interview with the Kardashian clan and was banking on this being must-see TV to help launch her struggling new career at NBC.
…but at least one Kardashian saw otherwise, opting to bail on Kelly.
In light of the 10 year anniversary of “Keeping Up With The Kardasians” — another sign the apocalypse is upon us — Kelly interviewed the family back in April and that segment aired Wednesday on “Today.”
NBC’s “Megyn Kelly Today” debuts on Monday, Sept. 25, and she told People Magazine the reason she left Fox News is that she was not happy working in politics. It’s Kelly’s second attempt at success at NBC after her highly anticipated Sunday show failed to gain a substantial audience and struggled in ratings.
“I’m not a political animal and I never have been,” Kelly said, though she did tell Ellen Degeneres that she’d still interview President Donald Trump on her new show.

And what better way to prove that she’s not a political animal than to sit down with the Kardashians, to include matriarch Kris and daughters Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Kendall.
…but not the youngest, and arguably hotest-for-the-moment, Kylie.

Page Six reported that sources said Kylie Jenner bailed “because she was spooked by potentially tough questions Kelly could ask.”
“She was all set to do the interview with her sisters, and she arrived to the location, ready to go,” a source said. “Then she bailed at the last minute because she thought the questions were going to be too tough.”
All of which makes one wonder just what Kylie has been up to!
Meanwhile, sister Kendall took a fierce stand for her absent sister, seemingly getting snippy with Megyn Kelly.
“My little sister has an insane business and anyone who says they don’t want their kid to be like that, and have an insane business at 19, and literally be so successful is insane to me,” Kendall bluntly declared.
The 20-year-old has a cosmetics line on track to be worth a billion dollars, according to Kelly.
As for the tough questions, Kelly asked the Kardashians if they are evil.
“Women will say the Kardashians are evil because my kid is looking at pictures of them and is being driven towards superficial goals that are unattainable,” she said.
“I have said publicly before, I want to ask you that question,” she continued. “Are you a force for good or for a force for evil?”
Perhaps the most evil of all, Kim Kardashian, replied, “I think we’ve honestly through our show, we’ve shown so many much more positive things.”
She then pointed to how the show addressed Bruce Jenner deciding he is a woman as an example of the “positive things.”
Speaking of positives, Kris did suggest that the Kardashian assault on the American culture is “gonna come to an end sooner or later.”
