The Far Left is going out of their way to find anything that will allow them to “protest”.

These days, this includes judges’ decisions to exonerate police officers who shoot black criminals. It includes rabble hooligans who deface and protest the statues of famous Americans, American military men from over 150 years ago, or memorials to confederate dead. Such confederate Americans happened to fight for the side that lost, but they’re still Americans.

But, to the Left, it’s just something else that they can use as an excuse to launch a protest, pontificate to their friends in the mainstream media, throw urine bottles and rocks at police, and… distract the American public from the economic recovery, the rollback of smothering regulations and rules of the Obama era, and sensible administrative policies being put in place by President Donald Trump.

These efforts involving violence by the left by club-wielding thugs, media bias, the targeting of Trump’s allies one by one, and political correctness are not only about the President’s actions. They are more about America’s future. The left hates Trump so intensely, they would push for the U.S. economy to fail if it hurt him politically.

It’s easy to protest, simple to tear down. The hard part is to build up, to create something of value, to put your own money and sweat into a business that makes you self-sufficient. So let’s call the Antifa thugs what they are: cruel goons who wear cowardly masks and body armor, wield destructive weapons, and pretend they are against fascism when they are really communists or anarchists. They call fellow protesters “comrades.” Too, let’s counter the violent fringe of Black Lives Matter—the military of the race-grievance industry– with force against force.

The media in this country, in its haste to denounce the Alt-Right, poured perfume all over Antifa, praising them, making excuses for these ragtags that grew out of the punk rock movement. But there is no moral difference between Antifa and fascists, because both groups reject the Rule of Law and civil behavior, and use violence to beat people down and destroy property. In February, at Berkeley, these criminals smashed windows and set fires. They showed up at Heather Hayer’s funeral with baseball bats and shields. Charming.

The clamor to “remove statues” is the latest distraction by the Far Left to eliminate attention from the violent, fire-bombing actions of the Alt-Left/Antifa protestors, a reflection of the declining state of morality in America. This is only one aspect of the continued attacks on everything that made this country what it is, including civil society and The Rule of Law, self-reliance, freedom of speech, the Family, and a Constitution which limits and defines the powers granted to the federal government.

What’s creamy rich is the disclosure that one of Left’s revered heroines,—House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi—expanded her call to “immediately” remove “reprehensible” Confederate statues from the hallowed halls of Congress. What makes this a guffaw-moment is the counter-disclosure that Pelosi’s dear old dad–Thomas D’Alesandro Jr.– spoke at a ceremony in 1948 to honor and dedicate a monument in Baltimore to two Confederate generals: Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee.

D’Alesandro was effusive in his praise at the time, gushing about how the lives of Jackson and Lee were “inspirational” for all of us, and how “Americans must emulate Jackson’s example and stand like a stone wall against aggression…”. D’Alesandro might be spinning in his grave over the actions of daughter Nancy!

So, there is a national contest going on– progressives competing with other progressives to see how indignant and forceful they can all become.  Who can be most flamboyant? Who can be offended and outraged the most, and claim their feelings were hurt beyond repair? How many sensitivity psychiatrists should we hire for the whiners who seek reasons to be offended and then claim they are “emotionally scarred”? Truth is, malcontents like this are nearly always unhappy people, dependent and soured personalities with a skewed view of reality; maybe they just want the rest of us to feel sorry for them. Count me out.
