The internet mogul who was attacked by ex-MMA fighter War Machine when he found him in bed with his porn star girlfriend spoke out about the horrible incident and why he left her behind when he ran.
Corey Thomas was in bed with renowned porn star Christy Mack in August of 2014 when her boyfriend, Jon Koppenhaver who changed his name to War Machine, came upon the scene. The former mixed martial arts fighter beat Thomas for about 10 minutes, biting him and putting him in a choke hold.

He came on top of me and got me in a rear naked choke and…I thought to myself, “Oh OK, he’s going to kill me now”,’ Thomas said in a new interview with “Crime Watch Daily with Chris Hansen” for an episode airing on Monday, according to the Daily Mail.
The fighter continued his attack while yelling at Mack to tell Thomas that she belonged to him.
Thomas, founder of The Web Squad, a Las Vegas-based web design company and a former contestant on a VH1 reality show, grabbed his belongings and ran, leaving Mack to then be brutally beaten by War Machine.

“In the moment, you think to yourself…’Why am I getting my ass kicked by this guy and she’s telling him that she loves him,'” he said. “I figured to myself…’I’m in the wrong bed at the wrong time with the wrong girl…You crazy kids can figure this thing out for yourselves.’ I gathered my stuff and left.”
Thomas didn’t think to call for help once he left.
“No, because I thought to myself we just fought, the fight’s over,” he said.
But the horrible details emerged later that War Machine then savagely beat Mack, whose legal name is Christine Mackinday, over the course of a few hours. She was left with missing teeth, a broken eye socket, a fractured rib and a ruptured liver and said she drifted in and out of consciousness during the ordeal as she was beaten, kicked and groped sexually.
She managed to escape after the crazed fighter left to get a knife, allegedly standing over her at one point and saying, ‘This is it. I’ve got to kill you now’.
He escaped but was found and arrested at a hotel in Simi Valley.
In June, War Machine was sentenced to 36 years to life in Nevada state prison after being convicted of 29 felony and misdemeanor charges from the attack.
‘Not a day goes by that I don’t seriously regret all those things that I did. I was a very, very lost, very empty person,’ he said in his statement at the sentencing hearing.
