A Miami man will ride out Hurricane Irma at home after an airline refused to let him board because he didn’t have a pet carrier for his dog Mika. ?
Like millions of Floridians, Matt Varga was trying to flee Miami amid evacuation warnings about Hurricane Irma, a category 4 storm set to hit this weekend. Torrential rain and winds up to 155 miles per hour are expected.
Varga told CNN he frantically went to 10 different stores to buy a pet carrier for his dog Mika (I wonder if she was named after MSNBC moonbat Mika Brzezinski).
All the stores were sold out, so Matt decided to try his luck at the airport, hoping one of the airlines would make an exception. But the employees at the only airline with available seats out of Miami refused. Varga said there’s no way he would’ve left his dog behind.
“I waited an hour in line and I don’t have a pet carrier, and they won’t let me on without a pet carrier,” said Varga, who lives in the Miami suburb of Kendall. “So I’m heading back to ride out the storm.”

Evacuation warnings have been issued for much of South Florida, in what could be one of the largest mass evacuations in U.S. history. Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, and Broward counties are home to about six million people.
“Do not sit and wait for this storm to come,” Florida Governor Rick Scott warned. “Get out now.”

Many on Twitter were upset that the airline did not make an exception for Matt Varga and Mika. But they praised his canine devotion. ?
Can they not make an exception for LIFE’S sake!?

I like that this individual LOVES his dog enough to not leave her behind, such an example! Mica can sit on his lap. This is an emergency!

Some women said Matt and Mika are welcome in their homes anytime.
I would literally swim across the country to save him and his adorable puppy

The only kind of man for me is a guy like this who would never abandon his dog ?
