“I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”
For decades, First Amendment proponents referenced that quote by statesmen/attorney Patrick Henry when they advocated for free speech — especially views they disagreed with.
But those days are gone, thanks to the fascism of politically-correct leftist nazis who are censoring or punishing any speech they find offensive or disagree with.
The latest example is Philadelphia firefighter John Deluisi, who was dragged on social media for posting a Facebook photo of himself with a tiki torch and a confederate flag hat.
Deluisi posted the photo with the caption, “Headed to VA.” The tasteless post came just days after violence erupted in Charlottesville, Virginia, between white supremacists and alt-left antifa anarchists.
Deluisi has since apologized, saying it was a drunken joke. “I’m very sorry,” he told Fox News 29. “I was drinking way too much. It was on my back deck … and we joked back and forth. It was just a stupid, dumb joke.”
Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney called the post “deeply disturbing,” and the Philadelphia Fire Department has launched an investigation that could result in Deluisi getting fired.
Let’s be clear: John Deluisi was an idiot for posting the photo. But ruining his life and demanding his firing because you don’t like his Facebook post is a dangerous slippery slope to actual fascism (and not the phony kind liberals accuse Trump of).
That’s what liberals apparently want: Censorship and a police state where your speech is monitored for political correctness. Except, of course, when it comes to radical-leftist speech that offends moderates and conservatives.
In recent months, there has been a proliferation of social media posts calling for the death of white people, or calling all white people racist. Last weekend, New Zealand pop star Lorde apologized for the fringe, white supremacists in Charlottesville and blamed all whites for racism.
Because Lorde is just 20 years old and uneducated, I’m not going to trash her. But her wholesale “white shame” is a hallmark of today’s liberals, who believe whites are to blame for all the evils in the world — even wrongdoing perpetrated by people of color.
Leftist anarchists also believe anti-white racism isn’t racism, and you should censor conservative viewpoints by rioting whenever a conservative is invited to speak at an event.
In 2015, angry Muslims stormed the Paris offices of French satire magazine Charlie Hebdo and assassinated 12 employees because they were upset by a cartoon mocking the prophet Muhammad.
Charlie Hebdo is an irreverent publication that has mocked Catholics, French people, Americans, Jews, Muslims, and everyone else under the sun.
If you look at one of the cartoons that angered the Muslims (above), you can see it also depicts a Jewish person. The caption reads: “Untouchables 2: Must not mock.”
While angry Muslims responded by murdering the cartoonist and his colleagues, Jews just ignored it. That’s how rational people react to speech they don’t like. After the attack, liberal apologists still refused to blame Islamists for the murders.
Since the tragic assassinations, Charlie Hebdo no longer draws cartoons of Muhammad or satirizes Muslims. Why? Because they don’t want to get killed for making a joke. Does that sound extreme to you? It should. But that’s the path leftist fascists are ultimately leading us down.
Here is where we’re at:

Thanks to leftist thought police, you can be called a racist for saying everyone’s lives matters. Especially if you’re white.
