It has long been established that there are different standards for liberals than there are for the rest of the country
…and as we learned with Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, being black is of no concern when attacking conservatives.
Nearly three decades later, amid a collective yawn from the media, the always surly Keith Olbermann called White House aide Omarosa Manigault, an African-American, President Donald Trump’s “pet.”
Vying for attention by espousing his unhinged, often vulgar views on social media, Olbermann tweeted a link Saturday to a N.Y. Times article on Omarosa’s appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists convention.
“Poor @OMAROSA. Offended when asked about Trump, same day as UVA Nazi rally. She had never realized that her only relevance is as Trump’s pet,” Olbermann added.

As intended by the tag, Trump’s director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison took notice of the offensive tweet and she proceeded to zing Olbermann good by reminding him why he no longer has a TV show.
“A PET? His animal? Keith! Really? “These types of highly offensive inappropriate statements explain why you were dropped from TV!” she tweeted.
Omarosa included the hashtag, #FireHimGQ — Olbermann was hired as GQ’s “Special Correspondent” in a video series called “The Resistance.”

And while the media had little issue with a conservative black woman being referred to as a pet animal, social media users has their say.
Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
Because he's on the left the media will ignore his #racist and #misogynistic comment. https://t.co/2DLRkgpUAu

Sorry Omarosa, that was an incredibly rude comment he made. You earned your spot & we appreciate your hard work.
