Of the shockingly few arrests in Charlottesville, Virginia, amid all the battling in the streets was a counter-protester who punched a female reporter in the face.
…but don’t expect that to garner much attention in the media.
Taylor Lorenz, a political reporter for The Hill, was punched as she was filming the aftermath of the car that ran into a crowd of people.
The driver of that car, James Alex Fields Jr., is now in custody.
Lorenz live-tweeted the encounter and said that the shirtless man seen in the video below, later identified as Jacob L. Smith, 21, of Louisa, Virginia, is the person who hit her.
“Stop f*cking recording!” Smith is heard saying after striking his blow.
Smith, reportedly a counter-protester, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault and battery.

His actions further prove that much of the violence taking place in Charlottesville was coming from those who opposed the white nationalists.
But his arrest will only serve to distract from the media’s prescribed narrative, which is to tie President Donald Trump in with the racist white nationalists, so there’ll be no rush to draw attention to it.
Even though it was one of the media’s own being attacked.
As for blaming Trump, a Hollywood moonbat actor went so far as to say the woman killed by the car driven into the crowd, Heather Heyer, 32, was “metaphorically” shot by the president.
