CNN fired Jeffrey Lord, an ardent advocate for President Donald Trump, Thursday just hours after he tweeted the phrase “Sieg Heil,” a Nazi salute first popularized during the ascension of Adolf Hitler.
“Nazi salutes are indefensible,” said a spokesperson for the media outlet. “Jeffrey Lord is no longer with the network.”
Lord is a popular political commentator, often featured on CNN battling against other pundits as the sole Trump supporter. The unsavory tweet was directed at Angelo Carusone and his group, Media Matters for America, of which he is president.
After posting the tweet, he continued defending himself, arguing that Carusone is actually the fascist, not him.
This is a guy whose ravings have been -as cited- anti-Semitic etc etc. This crap cannot be allowed to go unchallenged.

He explained why Carusone and his organization are the real bigots in an article published Thursday morning, highlighting their ostensible aversion to absolute freedom of speech evidenced in a spat with Fox News’ Sean Hannity.
