The old adage tells us that a picture is worth a thousand words… but it doesn’t say what political spin those words will take on.
NBC News posted a story online about what led up to now-former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus being ousted, along with the feature photo seen below:

The article featured former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, who said the Senate’s failure to pass health care legislation was Priebus’ downfall.
“Reince was brought in, as you know, as someone who could work with the members of the House and the Senate to get that legislative agenda done,” Lewandowski said Sunday on “Meet The Press.”
But social media users couldn’t seem to get past the photo to delve into such details.
In addition to a pointing Lewandowski, the photo featured Trump communications assistant Omarosa Manigault, followed by newly appointed communications director Anthony Scaramucci and White House aide Sebastian Gorka.
And while some loved the photo, it prompted a lot of mockery as well. Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
