As tensions between White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci and Chief of Staff Reince Priebus continued to escalate, the drama took a different turn on social media.
“Let’s have a contest,” reporter and filmmaker Mike Cernovich tweeted Thursday with a call to “meme” a photo of the feuding pair.

The mounting tensions came to a head as Scaramucci tagged Priebus in a tweet Wednesday, appearing to accuse him of leaking financial information to the media.
Fuel was added to the fire on Thursday with the release of a report by The New Yorker revealing a foul-mouthed Scaramucci unleashing on Priebus. The newly appointed communications director responded in a tweet later stating he “made a mistake in trusting in a reporter.”
Twitter users found an entertaining respite in the middle of the heated drama, offering up countless memes that will live on long after the subjects have moved on.
