Caitlyn Jenner mocked for touting Trump’s achievements makes Jimmy Kimmel eat his words

Caitlyn Jenner was unapologetic when asked about supporting President Trump and American values,

“Do you regret voting for President Trump?” Jenner was asked by Jimmy Kimmel while appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Tuesday.

“I don’t agree with everything he’s doing,” Jenner replied, “but I have always been — I’m older, I grew up in a country where you actually said the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag at school.”

The audience responded with applause.

“I believe in limited government. I believe in the people of this nation, not government, so that kind of makes me on the Republican side,” Jenner explained.

“I never really outwardly came out and supported him,” Jenner then elaborated, explaining supporting Trump as a candidate. “I supported whoever the Republican candidate was going to be, but the press kinda puts you there.”

When Jenner acknowledged that there were things the president has done that are “very good,” Kimmel jumped in.

“What?” he asked, drawing laughter then applause from the audience.

But Jenner was undeterred, noting that “if you’re on the conservative side and believe in our Constitution,” then the Supreme Court nomination of Neil Gorsuch and rolling back regulations for businesses are good examples of Trump’s positive accomplishments.

“Okay, alright. Gotcha,” Kimmel conceded.

“It’s tough for anybody to do business here in the United States,” Jenner added. “And I would like to see the United States be the best place in the world to do business.”
