A couple caught on camera savagely beating a restaurant owner and her daughter over cold food have turned themselves in to police.
The brutal attack launched by Nathaniel and Latasha Smith at the Qwik Chick takeout stand in Baxley, Georgia on June 22 was caught on surveillance camera. Authorities searched for the couple for two weeks before they turned themselves in on Wednesday, the Daily Mail reported.

Jeanette Norris told police that she had refunded the couple’s money after they complained that their chicken was cold and they did not get enough fries. But after Latasha Smith became increasingly agitated and beat on the store windows, Norris came out to inform the customers that police had been notified.
Video footage outside caught the woman unleashing her fury on the restaurant owner, punching and slapping her. When Norris’ 15-year-old daughter came over to help, she fell victim too as Smith knocked her over with a brutal punch.
Norris reportedly suffered a broken nose while her daughter ended up with a concussion. They were both also left with black eyes.
“That’s just pure brutality,” Chief James Godfrey of the Baxley Police Department said, adding that in his 41 years of serving on the police force, he had seen nothing like it.
